Planted seeds directly in soil 3 days ago, so far Pineapple Express is the only one to sprout. Using makeshift humidity domes.
Used rabbit poop, lime, gypsum, rock dust, kelp meal, mycorrhizae, and alfalfa meal as dry amendments mixed into even mix of potting soil, perlite, EWC, and coco coir.
Really hoping it all goes well!
2 plants have died, sadly. Now that the grow tent is here, the cats will be unable to reach them. This is the end of 2 weeks since the Pineapple Express sprouted, I believe - the rest sprouted throughout the first week. Temps have been up and humidity low, so I've been hanging up a wet towel in the grow tent when humidity gets below ~30 just to make sure they can take up CO2. They seem to be growing a little better since moving the light closer and reducing my watering a bit - they were getting a little stretched.
This marks 3 weeks since most of the seeds sprouted. Have noticed some slow growth, as well as a bit of curl/yellowing on the tips of some leaves, I've increased watering a bit as well as moved the light a couple inches up to see if it's underwatering or too much light.
Lots of things going wrong, but learning quite a bit. First of all, I narrowed down the slow growth to (I think) overwatering/pH issues because once I changed those the plants started growing much better - unfortunately, not in time for them to get much more vegetative growth, so ill have some small buds 😅
Putting the sweet potato plant in was a mistake, I introduced aphids and fungus gnats to the tent. They did some damage, especially to the Glucifers and Gorilla Glue auto, but I picked up some neem oil and resolved it.
I've started a bag seed in soil. So far, pineapple express auto from barney's is doing the best/growing largest. Bloody skunk getting some nice colors already.
