This plant was the first ever seed I've planted so over the past few weeks Iv'e messed with my space a fair bit, refining things I can do this time as I learn. I'm late to finding grow diaries, so I'm starting it at week 4. There's still a lot wrong with this grow honestly, much that I can't change until next grow, but I'll keep it all in mind and use all my experience with this plant for my next grow. I haven't messed with any LST or anything with this plant, I just want to take it from seed to harvest and gain experience from the full process, so the goal here was just to keep things simple and see how things go and to learn as much as I can!
The past week to ten days, she's really stretched out, doubling in size easily. It looks like as this week ends she's moving into full flower as the bud sites seem to be expanding a bit now, though she still hasn't stopped vertical growth at all, so I'm not sure. She grew 9cm this past weekend. I think next week I'll stop feeding with the Maxicrop Liquid Seaweed and switch to Plant Magics Oldtimer Bloom at a low dosage and see how that goes. She's a fun one to grow, but has a few strange habits, like she droops fairly heavily every night, about 3-4 hours before lights off. It looks like she's wilting but then in the morning she is perky again. You can see how she is starting to do this in some of the photos, which I took right as she starts to sag. I've been reading that this is maybe due to light saturation and isn't a problem but I'm not sure. It does correlate with my observations.
Does anyone know what's going on with this bud? Foxtailing? Genetics? she's crazy sticky and smells great, but the buds just look weird. She's standing right next to an OG Kush and the plants are night and day, the Kush looking exactly as you'd expect.
Just looking for some advice on harvesting really. Looking at the thrichs, I feel like harvesting now might be a bit early. I think she suffered badly from heat stress. if it were yours, would you cut your losses and move on? She's at about Day 64(ish) from seed.
Hello there scotch_egg,
Yes you are correct, harvesting now would be too early. I would wait at least 10-15 more days before harvesting to get a bigger amber ratio.
Good luck with your project, I wish you all the best! 👽
@Sweet_Seeds,Hi Guys, now this Devil Cream coming into full flower, I'm already researching my next grow and have been looking at Cream Manderine, mostly due to its low expected size. Do you think it would be suitable for me, as my space tops out really at about 100cm for plant height. What do you think?
