Germinated in glass of water, then paper towel method.
Will be growing using Gaia Green organic nutrients with the top dress method.
Those other seedlings in the tray are god bud, which can be seen in my other diary.
Originally I had them all in 3 gallon pots, I transplant two of them into 2 gallon pots the following week.
And oh man am I glad I transplanted them, because they get pretty crowded in there as you will see later on.
They are looking pretty stacked, most images here are with the light off+ flash. I am starting to wonder how much longer, the dreaded "2 weeks+"
Did some very minor defoliation.
Seems that one of the 3 of the plants is herming, noticed some swollen calyx low in the plant that had underdeveloped seeds in them. I wonder if it was caused by the Ph being messed up early on, or is it from the nights being too cold, or both.
Noticing a couple spots appearing on the leaves of one of the plants, assuming it is too late to totally fix it. But it doesn't seem to be getting much worse.
Been defoliating like 1-3 leaves a day, as to not stress the plant too hard.
The plant isn't smelling super heavily, but it sure smells nice. It is like a subtle berry/flowery smell.
One of them seems to be herming, but I am glad I didn't harvest early, because it seems to be frosting up heavily near the end. I am going to be vaporizing the bud anyway, so a few underdeveloped seeds wont be the worst.
Did some defoliation as it was looking really cluttered.
As of day 69, I am not noticing any milky/amber trichomes yet. I have read that this can be an 11-12 week plant.
Some really nice colours starting to show up on the plant.
Getting antsy and wanting to harvest, but I know the extra wait is going to be worth it. As of day 70 still all clear trichomes, I will check in a couple days.
Probably should have gave it more nutrients along the way, been around 4 weeks since the last top dressing. But they seem to be thriving, I can only imagine how much fatter they would have been with the proper nutrient dose.
I have harvested the plants as of day 79, I would have let it go longer but I noticed a small section of bud rot on one of the main colas. Diary will be updated once it is dried+cured so I can actually fill out the "harvest" section.
Still seems like mostly clear trichomes as of day 78, I don't think I am gonna let it go over 85 days
The back one is really chunking up, but is kind of lacking on the trichome production, at least on the very tops.
And oh man did these plants have their share of issues. From Ph swings, temp swings, and underfeeding(I think so at least), broken branches, transplanting, being too close to the light, and they look like they are going to yield pretty well irregardless of all that.
Had to harvest a little early, the high is very clarifying, and long lasting. The trichomes were mostly clear, with some slightly milky, not much amber at all. Flavours will be updated after a bit more testing.
20inx20inx36in grow space, 100w quantum board. Taste/effects/more info will be added after some curing time.
A little bit sad that I had to harvest around a week early due to a small amount of bud rot, but it looks and smells great, I cant wait to actually try it out.
Harvested 125 grams(dried) total from the 3 plants, I honestly didn't expect to get such an amount on the first try.
Bud was so sticky during the final dry trim, my scissors kept getting stuck on themselves and I had to keep cleaning them often.
Out of the 3 plants it was probably around 50g/50g/25g as the one in the back corner was smaller than the rest, but just as frosty.
Great seeds, I would like to try the photo period version in the future.
