I was surprised to see the roots had grown so much. Also, looks like I may have a slight nitrogen deficiency. So, I slightly up’d the sensi grow. Maybe she’s just a hungry girl?? If the new leaves still look the same, I’ll look to add additional nitrogen. I’ll also be getting some B-52 and voodoo juice. And some overdrive for some plants I have flowering and bud ignitor for some plants I will be flowering soon

Happy Growing ;) @DougFresh

Week 2 is looking pretty good! No deficiencies or toxicities from what I can see. She seems to be growing better than mine. Lol! Are you really feeding 3mL per liter (so around 12mL per gallon) of A&B? If so, then I may have to really increase the grow nutes.

@Ensign420, just using tap water. The leaves have been drooping slightly lately. I’m wondering if I may need a stronger air pump. But I think upping the nutes helped what I think was a nitrogen deficiency

@Ensign420, mainly just using tap water. When I’m feeling generous I’ll buy some distilled water. I want to see if I can grow without using the pens and meters. But if things start to go south, I’ll definitely be getting all the tools lol

@DougFresh, Wow! Are you using tap, distilled, or RO water? I may have to give this a try next time. Looking nice and healthy! 🖖

Looking good so far! Did you start in the bucket or a humidity dome? Rockwool retains a lot of water. I drowned my first seed by over watering. Keep the net basket a good 2-3 inches away from the bottom of the net basket. The popping bubbles should be enough to spray and wet the bottom of the net basket (water will be wicked up through the hydroton and rockwool). Then when roots form, drop the level even more. Also, PPMs and PH are extra important in DWC. So get a pen for both if you don't have them already. Best of luck growmie! 🖖

@DougFresh, Great! Yea I really like the ease of germinating in rockwool/dome. As for the water level, I'd drop it a few inches below the net basket. This should encourage her to grow more roots to reach the water below. PPMs are very important in DWC so I'd get a PPM pen ASAP. I'm still learning what levels are appropriate for specific stages of growth but all I can say is to keep it low and increase the concentration as she grows up. As for PH, I'm a bit confused on adjusting PH while using AN's 'PH perfect' nutrients. I personally still adjust PH when it drifts out of the range of 5.5 - 6.2 but next reservoir change, I might just try leaving the PH alone to see what happens as the PH drifts on it's own. 🖖

@Ensign420, started in a dome. I read that you soak the rockwool then shake off the excess water. I’ve germinated about 6 seeds so far with the rockwool. Love it! I will probably have to drop the water level. I have to coming up past the bottom of the net about an inch. But now that I think about it that tap root and whatever else has formed shouldn’t need that much water. I’ll have to invest in a ppm meter
