1. CBG Grow

MrHanftopia Hello dear Grow friends 👋, I'm new here and this is my first report. A little about my grow: I have a CBG strain that I'm growing hydroponically in 4 different aqua systems. All 4 systems are treated differently, it's also a little experiment. The first hydroponic system was defoliated. The second was defoliated and topped. The third was topped, and the fourth is allowed to grow as it pleases. I'm doing the grow in my shop in Bregenz. The second half of my 2.4x1.2m tent is used for indoor vegetables.

MrHanftopia This week was honestly not a big success. With the 3rd culture, I unfortunately had to realize that my plants are suffering from over-fertilization. I think it could be because I used the old substrate. (From the previous grow). I will definitely switch it out after every grow from now on. Additionally, I noticed a gigantic infestation. 😢 Fungus gnats 😤 At first, I diligently wiped them off the edges of the pots & from the substrate... until those little buggers were almost stacked up, it seems like they feel right at home in a hydro culture. In my desperation, I decided to remove the substrate & rinse the roots (A HUGE MESS, luckily my girlfriend helped me). While emptying the substrate, I noticed that the larvae had already worked their way halfway through the substrate. Last but not least, the biggest and thickest plant broke off. 😡 Every plant was radically pruned and some were relocated to soil next door. This week was just CRAP....
