Deimos First LED Grow (COB and QB)

GlyphoidGlobular Everything seems fine, growth without problems. As my first indoor experience, I'm observing the variables to improve later. I'm near a window, so I have a continuous passive airflow. It's spring and the temperature is warm and stable during the day. The indoor conditions are good; for now, I'm doing without meters. I added a generic red/blue Chinese LED light to complement my space.

GlyphoidGlobular So far, everything's good. I started adding full base (Chilean brand) as fertilizer, and the little ones seem to have reacted well to the care. I hope they keep growing well before their flowering. On the last day, I did an apical cut (topped), but it's not recommended for autoflowering strains. However, the Deimos is a very resilient and powerful genetic. So far, they've grown well, and I trust they'll recover (at least as I've seen them grow). Fingers crossed and may it be what Jah wants.

GlyphoidGlobular I did apical pruning (topping) on both plants. I knew it's not advisable for autoflowering, but I trust the genetics of Deimos, which have been growing very well so far. I didn't do LST before, but I started it lightly before the scrog. The LST is going well; I had never done that technique before and I'm really surprised. Highly recommended. I installed the scrog net on day 28. By accident, I broke a branch with a node from the smaller plant :S I put masking tape on it; I hope it recovers. I hope everything goes well.

GlyphoidGlobular I installed the scrog net. The lower branches are still on LST. I broke a branch with a knot on the smallest plant and I sealed it with masking tape. I hope it recovers. I've increased the watering volume. I gave the first dose of delta 9 foliar. Everything else is going well.

GlyphoidGlobular Flowering phase begins. I'm very surprised by the effects of LST and SCROG, excellent for making the most of my lamp's limited light. I will add a flowering fertilizer. I will continue using full base but at a smaller dose. Delta 9 applied according to manufacturer's instructions. The smell is starting to become more noticeable as soon as the tent opens. The Deimos looks very vigorous. A "weak" or "ballica" plant has grown well but has had several "accidents," however, it looks good. Its sister is powerful and strong. Not long ago, I ordered a 200w YXO Quantum Board from AliExpress. The light arrived and I can only say it's spectacular, of good quality and great power. I fell into temptation and decided not to continue the experiment with the COB and renew the grow with the QB. Now I will sell the lights I used during the vegetative stage. Everything is going well.

GlyphoidGlobular You can start to notice the change thanks to the Quantum Board. The plant that was born with one cotyledon is noticeably more lagging (but not smaller) in its development. I attribute this to greater stress from the apical pruning and other involuntary prunings, in addition to the small broken branch that I finally taped up with masking tape. The big plant looks robust and strong. I hope to compensate for the lower power in the vegetative stage with higher power in flowering. Everything is going very well.

GlyphoidGlobular The development of the grow looks pretty good. The plants are consuming more water, the smell is more noticeable, the flowers are developing very well, and the spaces in the scrog net are filling up.

GlyphoidGlobular Plant 1 is only getting water. Plant 2, which was the weakest, has turned out to be the strongest with a lot of buds. Out of anxiety, I cut two little flowers from plant 1 and they were really good. I did a green manicure on plant 1, let's see if the lower flowers catch something. Now to wait, plant 1 will be ready this week or next.

GlyphoidGlobular I cut two more branches last week and the smoke is really good. Plant one will be harvested this week. Plant two is continuing its process smoothly. Excellent results, the strain is very good and the quantum board is excellent.

GlyphoidGlobular I am very happy with the result. In this grow, I discovered the two phenotypes of Deimos (75 and 90 days). The strain is very resilient and tolerates pruning, LST, and SCROG well. The Quantum Board is excellent and a true bang for the buck. This is my first indoor experience and it has been a resounding success. The results were very good overall, there were no complications, deficiencies, or pests. I didn't measure temperature or pH because I trusted the Spring-Summer environment I'm in, plus I used rested water and maintained high humidity during the vegetative stage and less during flowering. It has been something very positive, because it definitely beats the black market. Hugs to all the growers. Now I will start a new diary with two more Deimos.

GlyphoidGlobular Plant 1 has borne its fruits and is curing. Plant 2 has grown very well, smells really nice, and has very good buds. It will possibly be ready for harvest next week. Excellent genetics with very good results.
