This is going to be my second attempt, so wish me luck! Totally changed my setup from previous. Im in a 2x2x4 tent now and starting just 2 seeds. Using an hlg 225 for veg and its turned down a bit for early sprout. 5ml cal-mag water into fox farms coco loco before placing in germed seeds. Both are breaking soil on day 2. Low humidity, added humidity domes late day 2. ✌️
-update- late in week day 6 now, im still having issues but believe i have it figured out. I know humidity was down at first, getting it up now. Also i think the pots i started in may have been a bit large which i think caused an overwater issue, making #1 curl. Getting a handle on things now though so hoping for the best. ✌️
No need for a humidifier! You really only need high humidity for the first couple weeks.
What I prefer to do is place a clear plastic cup or Tupperware over the plant after watering. The water will evaporate and condense within that cup and create its own humidity. I have found this method keeps it around 75%.

Theyare growing, but im still having issues with #1. Got humidity at 50+ now at all times. Yet still #1 is curling up, even new growth. #2 seems okay though and both have had identical treatment. So im honestly not sure what going on, input is appreciated. ✌️
-update- day 10 was a busy day for the girls. They got repotted into floraflex 2gal bags, because im pretty sure some of my issues came from fox farms coco loco being too hot for seedlings. As well as a humidifier added to tent. New growth coming faster now, so hope im getting everything dialed in. ✌️
-update- day 14 #1 got fimmed #2 got topped. Watered with light calmag water. Mist every other day with overgrow.
Seem to be doing well after their work late last week. #1 fimmed, is still growing but maybe showing some issues. #2 topped looks healthy and doing well, lower shoots already reaching up. Haven't fed anything but light cal-mag so far im thinking it might be about time, but still have cotyledons. Any thoughts? ✌️
-update- day 20 girls doing good now seem to be pulling out of their early issues. #2 topped looks awesome and spreading well, #1 fimmed didnt seem to change much the center still shot up. So i just went ahead and bent her over. Also got fed for the first time on day 18 with 10ml/gal botanicare cns-17 grow and 5ml/gal cal mag
I seem to be having slight yellowing of new growth and some brown spots coming up on the old. Anyone have any ideas what i need to give them? Is this a cal-mag issue or maybe nitrogen? Super newbie and just not sure, thanks! 👍
start ensureing 20% runoff with ferts each time. MAy want to rebalance them as the leaves show some stress... but could be dry at moment of picture?? Wait for top portion to change color before watering again. you can fertilize each time, if you always have 20% runoff.
I only see cal-mag listed. You need to provide 100% of all nutrients in a soilless grow. get some 'hydro' ferts as these will contain your primary, secondary and trace elements. a good 3-part system is what i'd suggest so you can make some adjustments to formula without buying a bunch of 3rd part products like cal-mag.
e.g. JR Peters Jack's is agreat system.. their part A, some cal-nitrate, and epsom salt. if you buy in bulk (25lbs) it cots less than 4 cents per gallon.
take 5-10% off instructions and go from there. You need any similar system that provides all the npk Mg/Ca/S and all the trace elemetns too. coco or other soilless substrates provide nothing on their own.. or for all intents and purposes nothing. maybe some Na from coco, lol.
Day 22 they got lifted out of the tray so i can check runoff better. Ppms and ec were pretty high after feeding so i flushed with clean ph'd water.
Day 23 i got mad nervous about space, i only have 38 maybe 40 inches of height. And i flipped to flower a week sooner than planned. I still think it'll be decent though im counting 6 budsites each.
Day 24 gave another cleanwater flush and runoff was back in the happy zone. Will finish this week with grow nutes and change to bloom next week 👍
-update- final day of week 4. Bad news. Looks like ive got a male to me, and even worse it was the better looking of the two plants.
Got a little bit of a 2 part question here, so first off, looks like a male to me. Can anyone confirm? And second is I have very limited space, 2x2x4, i have 2 photos started now. If my better plant is male should i just chop both and start the auto seeds that i bought? Thanks
Hi there, You got one male and one female.When I look into your diary, I see PP#1 shows ball and PP#2 show pistils.So You can take out PP#1 and start a new one as you planned.Happy growing... ✌️
This week went well honestly, had to pull the better plant last week so i was a little worried. But this one seems to be doing better after some love. Spread her a bit more and did minor defoliation to open the center up. Filling in nicely again. Her budsites are stretching after the flip to 12-12 as well. Also much happier with her color and growth after switching to the cns-17 bloom. Check back on her next week! ✌️
This week went pretty well. Stretched out nicely, and buds have started. Got a major haircut on day 39. Plant still seems sensitive to cns-17 nutes. Not a big fan, will be switching after harvest. Not going to be a big beasty girl, but i think she'll do fine considering my short veg✌️
Good week. Everything seems smooth now. Not really showing and issues, think ive figured out the feeding with the cns-17 bloom for now. Starting to show some purpling and the trichs are coming in for sure now. Till next week ✌️
Showing some mild clawing this week, lowered nute ratio and gave her a ph'd flush. However, I am getting very excited now! Buds are gaining weight and have beautiful colors / lots of trichs.
Any input on if i have done enough to correct the clawing would be appreciated. Be back next friday!✌️
Not much changed this week. Still going decent. I flushed the whole week just to counter the clawing. Buds getting thicker and the smell is getting stronger. Still happy with progress. Will have 2-3 more weeks of feeding before i start the final flush. ✌️
Staying strong 💪 getting fatter now with lots of colors showing. Its got some very deep purple in the buds, with lots of hairs that are turning orange now. Trichomes seem to be clouding up slightly. Smell is coming out more, took a few leaves off and my fingers afterwards were pungent/fruity. One more week of feeding then ill begin flush. Till next friday ✌️
Final feeding this week. Will start flushing now. I know shes not perfect but i am still super pleased with my results thus far. Trichomes are cloudy now for sure, dont see any amber yet. Lots of colors showing up, and smells very similar to frootloops. I have a scope just hard to get a decent picture with my phone. Till next week ✌️
Very pleased with my results! 🔥💪 trichs started turning amber sooner than anticipated, so i went ahead and gave her the chop. Very smelly and lots of trichomes. Didn't weigh or sample anything yet, ill be back with a weight update after drying ✌️
-update- final dry weight is 89g, and have it jarred up now with boveda 62% packs. Also got about 30g of sugar trim/larf ill use for butter. It may have gotten a bit too dry but i hear the humidity packs will help. Vaped a bowl to test and it was very sweet and floral tasting, and seemed pretty strong from the small tester out of a dynavap. Overall very happy with the outcome and with this strain.
