Just received my new light unboxed. It runs brighter and cooler then my 315 cmh. Now for germinating I put seeds in a cup of water for 24 hrs then directly in substrate with domes till they sprout. Then I remove domes
Moonwalker kush germinated and shot out of the ground. My ppm feeding is 300 to start they still look pale but will be bumping up to 400 for week 2. Also I had 2 purple berry kush that did not germinate. I was looking forward to them to
This week I transplanted when leaves reached edge of the solo cup. Also like to water before because sometimes soil has hard time absorbing water after transplant. Also water on the day transplant all to reduce transplant shock. These moon walkers are growing strong but clearly one is on a faster paste than the other. Should be topping in a few days. One on the left is a beast her structure is lovely. The one the right her internode spacing is shorter so I decided to remove two fan leaves to get more light to the bottom shoots.
They are just growing and growing. I did do some lst on the one on the left and plan on doing more on her. The shorter one I'm not going to touch let her catch up with the other height
This week was the last of veg. I will be flipping tomorrow along with a defoliation. I will use the flowering stretch to fill up my screen. These plants I can tell already have some great genetics.
Before I flipped I defoliated every hand sized fan leaves and plan on another session 3 weeks in to flower. They both are doing great but the left one is a beast. Everything about her I love. She would of made some good clones if I had a mother room
Beginning of this week I did lollipop these girls to push energy up. Waited 3 days for recovery then hit them with a defoliation. All the training is done that I'm going to apply. I'm very happy with these genetics spliff seeds👍
These buds are getting bigger each day that passes. They both are real healthy. Buds already looking like there going to be big ones🤞. Now its treating these girls like a movie star till harvest
Overall Great! Ph run off is slightly low but will fixed with waterings phed around 6.5. I use ph drops to check ph so I can give around about. But they dont look to be affected.
Great one on the left is about 3 weeks from being chopped while the one on the right is more like 4 weeks. I did slight defoliation this week because they where bushy again blocking bud sites no air flow till next week
It's clear I have two phenoms. Completely different bud structure growth and leaves. Also right on stretch stopped at the end of week 4 the left stopped at week 3. Hope the smoke is pretty close to being the same will see as the one on the left is covered in trichomes.
Last week the left moon walker feeding. Going to start flushing her the right side is about a week behind so she still getting feed. The smell is strong but hard to describe.
This week left side got a flush in the beginning and a has faded nicely. I will be chopping her down tomorrow. As for the right side her flush begins today and both will be harvested by next week
I chopped the left plant end week 10 flower. Right one finished sat which was 11 week in flower. I'm a do a slow dry and cure before update on harvest.
Growing moonwalker kush was a delight and will be running her again in my garden. Overl this grow went pretty smooth even though when I started I had no plans on scrogging. I was forced to when my purple berry kush did not germinate.

Well, fwiw, you can take a few cuts keep the most viable one... 2x2 is more than enough for a developed mom, can go even smaller if you train a single mother. Get creative. Good luck
@DankGardener, even a spare closet and a humidity dome will get ya thru the next 3 weeks after taking cuts. Don’t need intense light. Don’t need exhaust etc. I bought a 2x2x4ft tent off Amazon for clones it was like $47...cheaper than a pack of seeds. It fits in a bedroom closet. Cheers
Hell yea buddy , i will be keeping up on ylur grow for sure HLG boards are fucking amazing and i can see that your plants loving it huge ass fan leaves for a baby plant , i use an hlg 100 3000k in 2×2×4 tent with a 32 w red supplimental spectrum , i can already see how well that lights treating you and im planninb to get the 550blue and add red , happy growing man , one thing , your plants do look over watered and have an excess of nitrogen , wish you the best
Thanks for the diary. I just ordered a HLG 300L Rspec myself and am awaiting delivery. I be watching to see what your yield is from these two plants. Looking good! I wish the diaries included a place to include the light's dimmer percentage. Distance is from the plants is great but doesn't mean much if you are dimming during initial veg. Thanks!
@coherent, thanks for checking me out yes I was so impressed with hlg I bought another tent and hlg 135w rspec kit and started another grow. No to your question I never did unless I'm using light for heat germinating seeds other than that I keep them at full blast from sprout till harvest. You will get better faster growth not dimming as long as temps are in check.
