This is the 21th day and the symptom is very slow growth and the leaves are dark green as well as they're stunted and malformed. I am using tap water that has been filtered. There is clearly a white residue but I don't know if it's salt. If' it's salt I don't know where the salt could come from it's filtered water....unless the carbon filter cannot remove whatever is causing the salt. For the first week of veg I did not check the PH and when I did it was shockingly high at 7.5 so I've been checking it everyday now. Everyday the PH creeps up. I am using a total of 2 TSP or 10ml of Nutrient to put me at 500ppm. So I've made some changes I've started it on the Flora Series Nutrient Program specifically made for hydroponics that was 10 days ago additionally I'm adding in just a little of the fox farm nutrient. I've also lowered the water level to the bottom of the clay maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch of the clay pebbles in the water. So I'm having fun with it....I'm thrilled it's still alive and I'm learning this is the learning curve. I have a backup plant I'm growing in soil so if it doesn't make it it's not the end of the world.

Looking good, I’m running the Gold Leaf from Bergman a few weeks behind yours. ThT looks like the waterfarm from GH , you like it? Or even the drip feed? I’m doing DWC but almost pulled the trigger on the 8 bucket GH waterfarm
@mko51ss, but just so you don’t feel you did anything wrong.. a lot of my bud across different strains doesn’t have that crazy overwhelming smell when you crack it open.. mine tends to be more floral smelling.. but again the high is what counts

This is my first run with Gold Leaf but I will say that I have grown several times with ILGM seeds.. And I never compare anymore to what bud used to be like purchased some place else.. I’ve noticed a lot of different qualities to my homegrown bud.. but all I really care about is the high being good and it always is.
I would be a bit worried you could be over drying tho, buy some boveda humidity control packets and throw them in with your dried/cured buds and it will keep it from drying out too much

The link is to the kit I got on Amazon. I couldn't really make any comparison however my set up works good I haven't had any issues. I'm growing 2 plants right now one in hydro the other in soil. The only other plant I've grow I harvested 6 weeks ago so i'm really new at this. It was a successful grow though I got 2.25 oz dry. Also Gold Leaf I bought a bunch of seeds. Really smooth smoke very good high. What was different from weed I was getting on the street is it was very dry, crushable, frangible as opposed to a bud being like a squishy gummy bear. It also had a unique smell, very unique. Do you think these are normal qualities for Gold Leaf?
