BEFORE - AFTER: Hard week for my ladies... Topping 5 days ago and today defollation and LST....I leave them alone for 10 days and go for flowering.
Until now they are quite vigorous and grow very well! Really fat stem for a 4 week plant. My gelato from last year were half the size at same stage.
Let's hope it continues as good
Hi all, I heard LH were getting quite tall during flowering. My tent is 120cm in height... When do you think I should start flowering? They are now 4 weeks old.

Hi there,In your diary, your plant current height is about 20cm and your pot might almost the same height as the plant or may be around 30cm I guess.And again your light distance is 40cm from plant ( I don’t think you can lower more than 30cm ).So after those calculations, you only left 30~50cm for flowering stretch.Mostly plants are stretching about two to three times of the current height once they are switched to flowering circle.As you are growing sativa strain, it can go up to 90cm or even more without training.So For a 120cm grow tent,you shouldn’t go more than 30cm or stay on vegetative stage for about 8weeks if she is not reaching to 30cm yet.Continue on your training to stay as short as possible.If you can’t control, don’t worry you can perform some HST by breaking the tallest branch 90degree and give some more time to recover before switching to flowering circle.Happy growing... ✌️
Did some more LST this week but I don't dare HST :-)) to afraid to break the stem.
Finally I think I'll switch to flowering end of this week or 10 days...
For the moment I give them 1.5 liter of water every three days, trying to induce an hydrique stress so they develop more flowers but even after three days they do not seem to suffer too much... I should probably wait longer for the leaves to dangle???
Anyway for the moment I’m quit happy with the result, they have a nice green and don’t seem to suffer from any lack of nutrients...
I left them three days without watering to see if it would increase flower creation but that does not seem to be the case 😏. They still look very healthy and the smell is now propagating to the whole house 😋. I wonder why they do not stretch more??! Normally as a sati a strain they should stretch a lot more... even if I prefer they stay compact so I do not get fluffy buds.
Ladies are doing well! I am a bit surprised that they do not stretch more?! Normally as a Sativa and as what I saw on other lemon haze diaries it should stretch a lot more... they are now 8 weeks in flowering, so if I follow what is suggested for lemon power haze, I should harvest in two weeks at the latest. I will water one last time tomorrow with nutrient and in 4 days will start to flush. What do you think? Will they be ready in two weeks?
Should I start the flush? Ladies are at week 13 and 8 into flowering. I read that Lemon Power Haze are ready after 8 to 9 weeks but for me they look like they need 10 weeks? What do you think? I am also a bit surprised that they do not stretch more as a Sativa?!?

Looking at your photo, it seems you still have majority of milky trichomes, so you may have to wait one or two more weeks. Use a microscope to look at the trichomes aspect.
The oldest leaves must start to yellowish too, it means she's going into senescence.
Power Clean from Bio Technology (usable in organic) is supposed to "accelerate the senescence process of the plant by sending it a strong EOL signal". So if you're in a hurry, you can try it.
And don't fully flush your plant : you use vegetal nutrients so not feeeding them the last week is enough (water + Elycitor is my way).
Trichomes are now all milky :-) Nothing amber yet so I'll have to wait for two more weeks.
Anyhow I stopped feeding them. I would like to harvest them with a minimum of amber trichrome as I heard that the high would be more cerebral and more creative as this is what I am looking for.
I am still surprised they do not stretch a little more ;-/ Could it be the pot size?
They still are not yet ready. I think I will have to wait at least one more week before harvest. Ladies have already been flushed for two weeks...So even if I don't see much amber next week I will have to cut them. Never thought it would take so long... The gelato I did just before where ready after 9 weeks of flowering period.
Yellow leaves and 3 weeks in flush.... definitely started it to early 🙄 I just removed all the fan leaves and I will chop them on Tuesday. Wanted to wait for the full moon on Saturday, but not sur it would change anything. Otherwise they are really sticky and dense. And the smell is one of the best I ever had on any crop 😜🤪
It’s strange both plants had the same soil & pot, one lamp for each and the both grew very differently. One had very dense buds and the other more fluffy. The fluffy one made 244g and the dense one 190g (wet buds). They are now drying in the tent with 55% humidity. Tasted one bud I picked ten days before harvest and effect is nice and soft but the smoke is real harsh 😰 hope that the one I dry now will dry slowly and that after curing for a month or so the smoke will be more tasty
I hear you on that (waiting for the trichs part)! Doing 4 girls right now, from 2 breeders and let me just say that their flowering times listed were definitely a bit off so I am doing a jig and a dance to get all 4 harvested around the same time. Lesson learned for me though! I realize now that it is a rough guesstimation, but there are so many other factors to work in (lights, room, medium, co2, temps, etc.) Your diary is amazing, and I hope she harvests plenty for ya! Lemon strains are by far my favorite. 👽👍
