Cookies Gelato test

TheBudMan So with 2 plants here of the same genetics I will be using RQS and organic nutes on the first one and Canna nutes on the second one. Just water for this week and they are both looking fine. Keeping an eye on humidity which is great at the moment at 65% Temps are also looking fine at around 23 degrees. You can already see by day 7 the one with the RQS nutes is developing a bit faster. No problems to report.

TheBudMan So this week I have just been giving small amounts of water to encourage new root development. #1 with the RQS nutes is much larger than #1 at the end of week 2 #2 is starting to look a bit yellow so next watering it will be getting low dose of Canna Nutrients. No problems at all and I am really liking the look of the bigger one now, it will be interesting to see how they compare.

TheBudMan So on Day 19 I topped #1 as it is a lot bigger and looked ready for it with 5 nodes developed and cut at the THIRD node. At the start of the week I got the BIO Canna Rhizotonic so I gave each pot 3 litres @ 1ml per litre. #2 Also had the Canna A&B added at 1ml per litre. You can see the difference in #2 over night and within a couple of days it is looking a much healthier shade of green and seems to be developing a bit faster.

TheBudMan A great week for these 2 with nice growth and development. Topped #2 on Day 23 and by the end of the week I have started LST on both of them. Using stiff bonsai wire I make long hook like pieces so I can pin down the branches to make them grow in the direction I want and to open up the other nodes to the light. I gave another dose of BioCanna Rhizotonic towards the end of the week and #2 had Canna A&B also @ 1ml per litre of water. I can see slight signs of a bit of nutrient burn on #1 but #2 seems to be fine, I will keep an eye on it, other than that there are no problems to report.

TheBudMan Week 5 and I am starting to see increased growth on #2 as it seems to be catching up to #1 a bit. I gave them a little trim and started to pin them out a bit better to expose the nodes to the light. I gave #2 small dose of Canna Cannazym and CalMag and it seems to be doing ok with the A&B having a slight increase I have increased the amount of water I am giving and they seem to be drinking it up very nice. They are responding very well to the training and trimming at this point, bouncing back vigorously.

TheBudMan Good strong growth this week so I'm just letting them grow a bit now. Pinning out the branches to allow more light to the lower nodes. Just keeping the feed at a relatively low dose but will probably increase it on the next feed. No problems to report.

TheBudMan This week I have given them a nice little trim to encourage more growth to the top. Pinning out the branches and tying them down to open the plant up and make it wider. I have also upped the feed a little bit and they seem to be taking it well. No problems to report.

TheBudMan Gave them a really good trim this week and after a few days it's like you haven't done anything to them. New growth is strong and healthy looking. No problems at all.

TheBudMan So there is not much I can do with these at the moment, will give them another trim soon and get them ready for the flip. Just keeping the calmag in there as the plants seem to be liking it and I have increased the A&B feed also. No problems to report.

TheBudMan Gave another good trim this week and within a few days it is like they were never touched. Started flowering hours on the 1st of December so this is not really a full week but it is near enough. Not much difference between the plants at all now. No problems to report.

TheBudMan A good week with nice healthy new growth getting quite bushy. Gave a good trim this week to help with air flow and light to the lower nodes. I will probably keep the feed as it is for now but will be giving flowering nutes soon.

TheBudMan Started with half strength flowering nutes and added the Boost and PK 13/14. Flowers seem to be developing nicely. Plant is a nice colour and leaves look healthy. No problems at all.

TheBudMan This week I have increased the flowering nutes slightly and keeping the boost and pk at the same strength. My kitten fell through the top vent in my tend and landed on one big branch, fortunately the rest of the plant is ok. Buds are coming along nicely and they are looking nice and healthy.

TheBudMan So I'm keeping the feed at this level now as the plants seem to be on the edge of over feeding. Nice development of the buds with trichomes coming along great. No problems to report.

TheBudMan Good growth throughout the week. The one that was damaged is looking very close to cropping. Keeping the feed as it is as it seems to be working well. No problems to report.

TheBudMan Taken down the one that was damaged and I will probably take the other one down next week. Trichomes are looking nice and milky. I will post a final dry weight when the second plant is harvested and dry. No problems to report.

TheBudMan One thing to note is the buds are really dense and compact and covered in lots of trichomes. I like the smoke, it's really smooth and will chill you out nicely. Highly recommended.
