I’m finding that the Bloom from Age Old Organics still had too much nitrogen for this particular pheno even after reducing ppm. The Sweet Finish from the same brand was a real life saver, I used it till the end even with flushing. Bloom has worked incredibly well for a second plant I’m growing, however may have contributed to some issues with a third I tried it on, but can’t say for sure. Mixed messages, I know lol.

Ended up being 64 grams on the scale, dry weight after trim. I ended up taking off the fan leaves before hanging to dry, then after about 8 days of drying (I did the branch cracking method to check for readiness) I did a dry trim over a trim tray with a sift feature. Didn’t measure the pollen collection because I kept smoking it lol, and kept the sugar leaves (putting them in the freezer). Didn’t bother weighing the sugar leaves, there’s may 4 or 5 grams max. Despite using the branch cracking method I ended up drying out the plant too much. The RH wasn’t rising above 55 in the jars, so I kept a reduced jar burp routine going while I ordered some RH packs online to rehydrate them. It’s taking a while, but every other day or so the humidity goes up a percent. For the best apparently, if the humidity goes up crazy fast overnight it would open up the door to mold. The smell was delicious and intensely berry, and that’s remained the case even through the cure. In just a few more days it’ll have been one month since the start of the curing process, and I’m glad to say the taste has developed a tiny bit, but honestly? The taste is so weird lol, it’s like if unsweetened flavored water was a smoke experience. It’s a slightly humid smoke, with the faint essence of sweet berry. Best way to describe it would be if you’ve ever turned a piece of fruit into a makeshift pipe. The smoke takes on humidity and a faint sweetness from the fruit without it being too strong. It’s fun if nothing else lol. The high is pretty light and mellow with a touch of indica calm without the couch lock to me, but tbh I’m a pretty chronic smoker so my tolerance might be a bit higher than some and the effects not as intense or noticeable. No way for me to test THC, but if I had to guess I’d think it’s somewhere between 15% and 18%. Not crazy, but not low either.

Thanks for posting the finish line. I’ve been doing a lot of comparing to my BB as they were similar to start. You harvested in week 11 and looking at our plants I think I might be able to squeeze another week out of line. I also pruned a bit more. This is my 3rd auto grow and I have learned a lot the first two. Hopefully you did as well! What’s next ?

Following. Just started a berry bomb grow and am not happy with the seeds I received. Yours seem to be doing well so I’ll continue to follow your comments and pics as reference. Good luck towards the finish line.

@shawzy88, Honestly I kinda feel that as well. I can't speak to your seeds, but I was initially a little bummed to see mine were on the small side, and when I popped them it took longer for them to grow the taproot than I've encountered with the photoperiods I've done before or since. I've never done an auto before so I don't know if it's a trait that seems particular to this strain or to autos in general. I've seen others have way greater success with their BBA grows than me - for me I think I overdid it with the nutrients and/or just struggled to lock them in quite right and it ended up resulting in more popcorn-like buds than I thought. I will say that the reviews and info I found on the strain from other growers or the seed distributors about resin really packing on in the last two weeks or so has been incredibly true for me. Seems to get noticeably denser and frostier when I check in on her in the mornings. And sorry to info dump, but I found that she handles some light defoliation really well, and rather than slowing growth she seemed to perk up for it

@shawzy88, I'll check out your progress too - i've got a few more seeds to pop from this strain in the future and it definitely helps to compare. Was able to get my hands on some sweet seed autos I'll be trying out - haven't decided which of the purples I ordered but i'll be trying to fill the tent up with them so I'll have a pretty good chance of getting at least a couple phenos with purple bud. I definitely could have gone another two weeks on mine, it was pure impatience and inexperience that had me hesitate and decide to chop when I did lmao. Good luck man!
