Trying my best to keep VPD in the .8 to 1.1 range, not an easy task as the 2 humidifiers have shaky sensors at times. Day 5 someone left the heater on upstairs..... thankfully only a few hours but VPD was up to 1.44 for a little, not cool. On average, the temp is 71 24/7 and humidity 55-60. This is my first grow with any plant period, and without any help IRL. Im sure Ill mess this at some point lol She got some fresh water and new round of food today to start week 2 Ive disabled the 300w VS LEDs temporarily til shes a bit bigger, only aerogarden led and sansi are on them atm. I wonder if I should turn them back on and let it roll even though they cannot be center over them

Day 9 looks fine Day 10 apparently I have paranoia but seems the slight grey-ing is fine/perception issue Day 11 1 of the leafs on plant#1 got some sort of growth on it (Or discoloration), heater was left off overnight & the room dropped to 67 degrees, too cold. Could be related. Full blast on fans & observing. Under leafs are completely clean & clear. Ordered Neem oil just in case. Dropping humidity levels to 55 from 60. Lowered LED, 6.5 from Canopy now. Day 12~~ MISTAKES WERE MADE~~ The suspected WPM you can slightly see on day 11 on the leaf ended up not being WPM, and I discovered it too late. In the AM the "growth" had spread all over the leaf, 1 spot had turned into 8/9. After debating and researching, I Snipped the leaf. DUMB. As soon as I did that I was able to see the leaf up closer and it was clearly not WPM but some sort of burn / deficiency. Which didn't add up as nut scheduels & ph was perfect, that left me with rot or fungus. Picked up the aerogarden res and sure enough, 1 root out of the 10/11 pure white ones was browning. Quickly changed the entire res, gave her fresh nuts after steralizing the hell out of the smelly rot bucket & back in she goes. If I had a better microscope, like a usb/wireless one I would've identified that better yesterday. I knew something was wrong but couldn't figure out what. The smell in the res was horrible and was only 5 days old. As for how it happened. The first 3/4 days of owning the aerogarden I proceeded to start growing, even though the Black "caps" to block light out were not here yet. So, lightleak. I've also put black tap on each of the 2 tubes going "into" the aero system to block even more light leaking. Temps are solid. Additionally I nuked the entire tent just incase. After making a huge mistake here just 3 hours after fixing everything, she is already showing signs of massive life again. She's growing not just a 3rd but now a 4th pair of leaves. Obviously I stunted her here but she seems to be recovering very nicely. I also made a 3rd error for the entire past 2 weeks, keeping the weaker aerogarden LEDs 12=14 inches from canopy. I assumed because I'm also using a 300w VS that I would want to use that distance. Wrong, lol I've been depriving them of UV due to distance, So in all sorts of ways I've stunted both Plant 1 & 2 here. Oof. The LED is now 5 inches from canopy as needed for the power level of this LED. So ya, MISTAKES WERE MADE but shes coming back strong, I'm shocked & relieved.

Day 10 I noticed the leafs around the edges are all nice & green but in the inner parts of each leaf it's looking a bit rusted, more so just grey after examining the photos. Is this a deficiency? Fungus? I've adjusted the PH to 5.7 temporarily

Horrible week ever since Day 12. Hard core learning experience. I almost tossed her & started over but decided that wouldn't teach me anything. So it's pretty clear I caused a Mag defi by leaving her at 5.8 from day 1-12. She ended up almost completely brown by day 13. So did plant #2 in the same aerogarden. I decided to keep going, she "IS" definitely stunted at this point, badly. For almost 8 days she grew NOTHING. Not a single CM, no new leafs. Probably almost died. I corrected the PH to 6.3 for a few days, knowing I now need to use the full PH range, not just hang at 5.8 ish. I also added a 120$ water cooler to the aerogarden, took 30 seconds to install, it fit in "perfectly" into one of the un used aerogarden holes at the top. So perfectly in fact that no light leaks are happening from using it. Dimension for dimension perfect for the holes. Amazon can be good sometimes. Connected the chiller to a sensor so it automatically just 100% keeps it at 66 degrees. I also removed the AeroVoir & foiled up the hot black plastic tops, which absorb heat, that POS AeroVoir was causing light leak, because the entire AeroVoir system exposes the water it holds to light. Can probably just wrap the whole Voir res in tape, but for now I'm just leaving it out because thats too much risk. The results were magical. On day 1 after the above nothing happened much, day 2 no change, but also, no further browning of the leaves, whatever was happening stopped. Day 3 post damage, woke up to her being double/triple in size, triple the leafs & all look super healthy. Quite excited I have to say, even though I KNOW she'll have next to no yield because of my lack of knowledge. Full week of being stunted. Mega-Yikes I decided shes ready to have the brown leaves removed & cut them, then took more photos after. That is on Day 19 ^, The little bit of brown is from the damage caused "before" this started. So that has been there & a small piece of what I corrected. I should've taken some more of the damage, silly me. I only took a microscope one. It is uploaded above, but in an early phase. Will NOT be making that mistake again UGH......Yield on her is going to be shit, but I gained a ton of knowledge dealing with this, so it's worth it. 2.5 months of learning for decades of growing, good trade off. And got her a better surrounding. Shes loving the hell out of that cold water! Next week her nutes get doubled. I should've been increasing that a bit too, she showed no signs of toxicity, so from what I gather is that means I'm not giving her enough/Pushing her hard enough, lol

Nothing much to report. Flushed water & my meter was off, sat in 5.8 PH 2/3 days but nothing too bad, little browning happened. Got her back to 6.3 PH & it stopped. Shes growing crazy fast this week

I was out with a dead phone most of the week due to a bad charger. Really sucks because she EXPLODED this week. Missed some awesome photos. No real issues to report, shes going fine & drinking almost the entire AeroGarden res per 24 hours. "NOW" I may work the aerovoir back in... hah.

As of this week she has gotten way too big for the AeroGarden light. She had multiple canopies touching the lights. I am pushing her nutes harder then suggested. More CalMag then normal, less Micro, and double the bloom. She was getting fishtails last week, on only maybe 4 leafs however, and only small nute burn on the tips, which is what I wanted, The fish tails, I'm cutting back on Nitrogen & upping her bloom shortly even further to keep the small nute burn going. Day 36 she was 25 Inches tall. I removed the AG light & starting using a VS instead so she can keep going. With the new lights the ideal distance is 14 inches instead of 4-6. Checking Leaf temp with an IR she's sitting at about 73 even if the tent goes up to 80. So VPD is roughly 1.40 which is perfect in this phase. This is probably happening because of the cheap chiller keeping the water at 66-67. Basic "Timers" off Amazon cannot be trusted. I have tried 4 models & ALL of them were in some way faulty, which is a major problem for plants on schedule. Instead I got an Amazon branded WiFi smart plug > Set it up with the Alexa app & created a "Routine" to shut down and back up after 4 hours of being off. It works perfectly. So I guess she's under a "Smart Tent" now, lol. I am not doing LST this round anymore. I was last week & she kept fighting it & growing up too fast. I'm just going to let her do her thing, got no time to argue with this woman. Day 38 I got my new chargers for the phone to take pictures again, and she is 30 inches tall. The aerogarden is completely absorbed, cannot see it at all without pushing leafs out of the way. Hard to fit her in a photo anymore being in the tent. Humidifiers no longer have to be re-filled every day. Before keeping the tent @ 55-60% would drain all water in both humidifiers in 24 hours. Now she's sitting at 51% and after a week both are still half full, but dear god she is drinking so much. If I didn't check her every 12 hours she would be dry. AeroVoir time, 100%. I am slowly defoliating the bottom as to not stress nor cut too much out too soon. There was some slight browning again last week. It stops everytime I add calmag, apparently the 5 ml/gal per week is no where close to being enough, not with "my" water here in TN anyway. I'm adding 5 Ml every 3/4 days to keep it from happening again. Think I'm going to opt for what OrihimeDelta did & try a shelf in the tent to fit more plants in here. Fantastic idea next time. Day 41 The main stalk is being ridiculous, look at day 38 vs 41 to compare the growth. That's about 5-6 (more) inches in 3 days. She's gonna need a damn net, I wanted to avoid using those, bleh lol

Up to 38.5 Inches. Going to go flush & just give her water & calmag at about the half way point this week & let her chill a few days. Feels like I've been pushing her too hard, slight nutes burn like I wanted but............ I'm still a first timer lol. (For ANY plant period, not just widow or weed, for ANY plant lol) No idea what I'm doing. I just sort of had a theory & went with it.
