Took some clones from my indoor grow. Roots have developed now and they are in small pots inside the house until they are big enough to go outside and not get eaten by snails.
With some nice weather due in the next few weeks and covid restrictions lifted somewhat I went to my local hudro shop and bought some cocos and some nutes ready for the spring summer grow. These 4 are clones to be grown in coco coir next to a seedling in soil and hopefully a clone to be grown in soil.
The girls have settled into their new home very nicely. With some nice weather coming up they should be in for some nice growth. Next week I will start feeding them.
Great growing conditions down under and the girls seemed to enjoy their feed. Two are looking bigger which is strange seeing as they have the same mother and same growing conditions.
The girls is looking great and the conditions for growing excellent. The bad thing is they aredefinitely in flower. In 8 years of outdoor growing in the same location this is unheard of. The clones are from a femenized photoperiod, I thought they might have given me an autoflower but clones from other photoperiod plant. Normally my plants start to flower around late Jan early Feb.
Girls are looking strange as there is little lateral growth so the girls might end looking like a giant cola, hopefully I get a good yield but I'm not holding my breath. Added some molasses to the feed program.
Great week for growing but interesting development with the plants being identical clones of the same plant, in the same medium and same feeding cycles two plants are getting bigger buds than the other two.
After thinking that these plants were not starting out great they are finally starting to come around. They are fattening up nicely and staring to smell.
Although I was first disappointed with the height of these girls and the lack of lower branches I am very happy with how fat all the colas are getting on all these girls. This summer has been a lot kinder than last with not so many windy days.
First grow in soil went well, had a good season weather wise without the damaging winds and high temperatures. This plant had a little bit of mould but I got to it quickly and it didn't spread.
