So I have 1 blackberry Fast buds seed as a gift pack and I had 7 blackberry kush Dutch passion. As I grow in sets of 2 I thought it would be a cool way to compare the seeds side by side. So they were both in water for 18 hours and then paper towel. They both crack after day one and the both of them got 2cm tap root in 3 days. So far they are identical for growth. It will be interesting to see when they really start growing as fast buds says about 8 weeks and Dutch passion says about 10 weeks.
They are both growing still at the same rate. I placed both of them inside the hydro system on Thursday night. And they did take to it right away. Still to small to be aldrin king much water yet. I have started them on 1/3 of nutes. So not much at all. Will add nutes next week once they are on the normal amount.
They didn’t have much in height growth this week, just 1cm in difference. But the leaves got much bigger and they look like they are both about to take off now that I have them under the Mars hydro lights. So far after 3 weeks they are spot on. Very happy with both strains so far.
They both had good growth this week. Dutch passion went from 4cm to 10cm. Fast buds went from 4cm to 13cm. So there is slowly a gap between the two. It’s only 3cm now, but that’s a start for the differences. I think next week it will most likely be more then 3. So far very happy with both strains.
So they are still really close to each other. DP blackberry went from 10cm to 35cm and FB blackberry went from 13cm to 37cm. They are still really close and both are in preflower now. They will be in flowering stage next week for sure. Happy with both strains so far.
So this week they both took off.
The DP blackberry went from 35cm to 70cm and she is drinking tons of nutes/water now. She also started to develop a little bit of purple already for colour. Very happy with this strain.
The FB blackberry went from 37cm to 79cm and she is drinking tons and lots of little buds sites coming in. She doesn’t have any purple colour yet though. Very happy with this strain

The Dutch passion blackberry went from 70cm to 79cm. Not much growth, so I am guessing she is slowing down in height and focusing on buds now. Lots of purple coming through now too.
The fast buds blackberry went from 79cm to 107cm. Another great week of growth and she is drinking lots of water/nutes now for sure. She did get some purple coming through this week as well.

Both had good weeks.
The Dutch Passion Blackberry didn’t grow anymore in height. She is now focusing on getting her fat buds. The profile is amazing as there is purple and lots of orange hairs. It is really cool to look at. The trichomes are everywhere now. They are still clear and she still has a few weeks to go for sure.
The Fast Buds Blackberry went from 107cm to 112cm. Only 5cm this week which tells me she is pretty much done in height growth and now will focus on buds and getting them nice and thick. The purple is really exploding all over her now. The smell is starting to show itself as well.

They didn’t have any height growth this week. They are really focusing on on getting some nice and thick buds now. Both strains look great, but I find the look of the Dutch passion to be a little better and the growth of Fast buds better. I will definitely get a much bigger yield from the Fast buds.

They are both growing very fat buds. The branches are very heavy and I had to put in a lot of strings to keep them up. The FB strain is still growing and getting fatter. The DP strain has stopped for some time now and she is starting to get close to finishing.

These girls are both very close to finishing. The DP strain I think is actually closer. Which is different from what they say they should be. FB should be done almost 2 weeks before based on the web info.
