GingFreecss Hey everyone, fellow growers! Not having a free minute, I was unsure whether to start a diary for this cycle or not, but I found a compromise: I'll do a condensed diary in a week 😶‍🌫️😶‍🌫️😶‍🌫️. I did 2 experiments. PLANT ON THE RIGHT (heart) I used extreme LST to grow the stem flat and keep the branches in an optimal position, creating a ScrOG effect but without cropping. The plant has a really strong genetic (thanks to Barney's Farm) and didn't feel any stress at all. As usual, I defoliated and pruned around the 3rd week. The plant has an impressive and early resin production, and the maturation was also a week faster compared to the other one. On the 26th, I cut it and put it to dry in the same grow where I cultivate, leaving it exposed to the light cycle, in an attempt to keep the xylem and phloem active and facilitate the release of water and sap, and maybe continue the maturation a bit. The plant produced branches averaging 10/15g. PLANT ON THE LEFT (bigger) Again, extreme LST but bending the stem halfway at about 90°. Thanks to the genetics (thanks again, Barney's Farm 😘), the plant didn't feel any stress at all. Same timing for pruning and defoliation (??). In this case, the plant started producing resin at normal times and quantities, so I decided to force production with 2 apples for ethylene and to use colder water for some small thermal shocks. In terms of yield, I believe they helped a lot. As of today, November 27, 2020, the plant is still growing. I'll provide new updates in the coming days, including the total harvest weight. By eye, we're looking at around 10/20g per branch on average. Thanks for stopping by! GingFreecss There's about 1 week left until the harvest of the second plant, the buds are very compact and loaded with resin, the smell is reminiscent of a mix of roses and citronella. I've been drooling for 2 weeks, in fact, I've already taken off 3 branches from this plant for a taste.
