Been tough keeping these things small thru summer until i could get caught up. This is the main veg room. Gotta pick out 20 to repot n prep for flower but im gonna give them a couple weeks up here to thrive 1st.
Got a custom strain we callin The D in here along side a gifted member berry and black cherry gelato and a Do si do cookie that i saved.
Next summer should b great will damn.
Last week of veg b4 i pick my 20 and switch to the fabrics. Excited to get my new strains and style rollin.
Nursery plants ( purple punch, wedding cake and gelato) got moved into the veg room.
Outside of paint or mylar i think my veg setup is good.
Days away from pickn my 20 to move to the flower room. My trellises should be here today so i can finish the reassembly😁😁😁. Just when I was gonna say that I think my soil leaves something to be desired, my girls started blowing up. This cotton candy kush grows like a vine and i cant wait to see what she can produce.
Finally got everything together and started flower. Got my fingers crossed for my 1st organic run amd 1st run replacing the 1000 watt mh with 2 315 watt cmh.
Forgot to keep a mother of the cotton candy kush so everything in this run will b retired after its done. Except for the thin mint gsc of course.
11/27- only thing left is to finish adjusting the trellis and bring reservoir tote back in to set the irrigation system back up (debating if i will).
Last few pieces are falling into place...dehumdifier...ac unit and vpd monitor are all ordered. Finally will b finished gathering parts (outside of led lights eventually). Everything pretty much on cruise control...dry amendments is def easier so far. Cant wait to see the end result. At the very least i will b doin dry for veg from now on.
Labs should b done tuesday and will be statn a bokashi compost bin soon.
Got my ac😁😁😁...inkbirds will b here tomorro (humidity and my 2nd temp one) so it can b properly controlled. Gettn ready to give them a tea next week then just cruising to harvest. Like the dry amendment method but 2 soon to say for sure. Looks good tho.
Ladies bugs still hangin out. Split another 500 between veg n flower room. Cant wait to get rid of the trellis for good ole tomato cages. Cant wait for this harvest.
Looking good so far...liking the dry amendment/ organic method. I havent tried any of the same strains with this method vs regular nutes feeding so i cant say for sure but i think i may have given a little of the yield away and cant say if the quality and taste went up to offset it just yet. Still plan to stick with it atleast until fall to get a good sample size. Will b going into week 6 on Thursday so we in the home stretch.😁😁😁....
Got blumats coming to free up time and water this style a little better. And a cam for better pics and so i dont have to b in the room as much. Should have more time to betted document everything. Damn i cant wait til outdoor season.
Been busy kinda got behind wit my diary...pots officially ran outta nutes. The switch to 10 gal pots should fix all that. Ill give em a little coconut water til harvest and we should be good. Ph is a little low so I will add a little lime...figured it wouldnt hurt or am i wrong and its 2 late? Plan to take em to at least week 9 so it wont mess up my "flush".
I dont think i sacrificed much, if any in yield...think the strains played more of a role in that so Im going all in on the organics/dry amendments. So pumped for next run that this one is startn to get on my nerves.
