Grappling with Grape Pie

jenijane I burned them with my new fancy light. I went too close too quickly. I swapped to lesser lights to relax them. I was able to get back on the main light and had pitted them with Fox Farm Ocean Forest and now they are taking off. Heights 11.5 & 16 inches.

jenijane The lights, soil, and nutrients are starting to show. I did a FIM on both plants. Fairly uneventful week... in my grow tent anyway. Heights are 15” & 20.5”, respectively.

jenijane Overall things were fine... with the notable exception of the discovery of 3 leafed leaves while pruning. Thankfully it can be explained by my accidental light burn the first week. I even found a couple single finger fan leaves. Fortunately, it should not cause any problems with the flowers. The newer leaves are growing out fine... and so it goes.

jenijane Mostly good. I bought clones of the same strain but they have very different growth personalities. One is 39” and I had to FIM it twice (hope that wasn’t a mistake) because it is out of vertical control. The other is stung & squat. I had to raise it up in some boxes to get it near the light... I think I’ll have to put the net up this week.

jenijane 40” & 25” respectively. Stretch got too close to the light and gave itself a little burn. I did another FIM and now it has stopped the hyper vertical situation. All good other than that

jenijane Seeing what I hope are false seed pods. Needed to start tying one back since this one bad boy keeps growing up. His fraternal twin needs a booster seat to get close enough to the light. Lesson: maybe try to get 2 that are similar. Their roots were very different. One long & skinny; the other was thick & short.

jenijane Fuckballs. I thought I was seeing signs of over fertilization. I thought I had worked it out but I saw signs on upper newer leaves. I realized I have been giving way too much Overdrive. So I’m flushing it out a little bit & then I’ll see if bringing back the base 3 normalizes it.

jenijane And so it goes. Looking plump and I think I can smell it but it’s hard to tell being that I’m sitting with it most of the day.

jenijane I had to tie some of the heavier colas back on one. The other is better behaved. I reduced the nutrition back since I had over used one item. The leaves one one are purple. I’ve kept the temps fairly low & it is geared for purples. It looks like it could be low on phosphorus but I don’t think that’s it. Any ideas would be appreciated!

jenijane Growing okay. I’m pretty bummed about the damage from overfeeding & from the light drama. Getting big and fat; at least I got that going for me! Last week before the great flush!

jenijane Last week before the flush. I’ve had to tie back several of the tall wide one.

jenijane All’s well that finds well. It survived my error in adding too much Big Bud. It dried super fast and the dehumidifiers barely had any water. Super sticky! Nice purple hues.
