This is my second grow ever and the first soil-less one. The first week was flawless. Let's try myself in feeding this beauty in weeks to follow. Ideally, if all goes well, I will be able to harvest around NY's. Let that be the target. love to everyone! Have a good life <3

Third week in progress. I am experimenting a lot, as this is my first soil less grow and second at all. So, I am growing together with this beauty. As it grows, I observe a lot of foliage. It has been very strong in lateral growth.

Week 4 was challenging. After lots of experimenting I did not get anywhere real. On one hand this plant seems to have a very good genetics - it survives all stress, persists to nutrients in marginal high dozes and grows a lot of foliage. However, as I observed a week before, the growth was there, but it was rather lateral than so much needed vertical one. At the end of the week, when my people celebrate St. George day it seemed to me that she bloomed. So I decided to give her a fresh start and removed main ventilation leaves that were blocking new branches under their enormous canopy. That entire day she looked angry at me. But by the evening she came back in another beautiful light. When she raised back her remaining leaves, I realized that superficial defoliation was not sufficient. I said to myself, Paco, wait for the next week to start. So I did. to be continued in next weeks. Please come back :)))

Week 5 and we see the vivid signs of flowers bursting their first tiny particles. I am seriously panicking because of somewhat difficult growth. Friends and growers were reporting stunted growth all across different conditions because it got suddenly very chilly in the city and it was hard to maintain the usual and favorable temperature/ humidity levels. It even snowed in the city and its surrounding mountains. Yes we grow indoors, but outside weather affects anyways. I observed that small ventilation fans inside the box felt pretty cold. I checked the stem once and it was freezing cold, like it was in the freezer. I am struggling with these variables to solve the equation. I feel not so close yet. I just pray to the Gods of high to pull my lady up a little bit and give her some strength. So I had to get creative and make the growing process efficient (which I would not do, should she has grown to the level expected), and also does not stress her even more. So I decided to give more light and air to already growing branches, which until the end of the previous week were overshadowed by a rich ventilation foliage. I ended up with a pretty decent LST result. It almost looks ideal. I attach the picture where buds to be are ideally arranged under lights. These lines look like SCROG. One day I should definitely try it. I was even thinking, if the growth starts finally, shall I bend the main stem towards one of the sides to allow upper, newer branches to grow vertically to the lights and then allow the main one to join other in their thriving to the light source. let's see, this is only beginning of this critical week.

I had to flush her to correct developing deficiencies (will provide full report later). I had to switch to the lighter feeding program to allow her come back to life. It seemed to reward us. We had to undergo yet another stressful experience - a very brutal defoliation.

This is the week that this grow seemed to become extremely rewarding. Buds have increased in size so much that my confidence as a grower has increased likewise. Now I even started thinking, if all goes well, perhaps I will have a harvest that I would never expect of this grow. Perhaps Barney's Farm has put tremendous work into her genetics. I love this grow, although its second for me and the first without soil. Some bonus Buddy Art Fingers crossed for the final week coming up
