germination date it's 11/05/2020 we will see if it pops🙏 has germinated and placing in my coco on 11/9/2020😀will start day 1 when it breaks the soil, by the way i word on ripper seeds the way they packaged their seeds is better then any company i met and the tails grew faster then any company i have used yet, and I've grown with a lot of companies in my times of growing even before i found grow diaries, thumbs up ripper seeds on their packaging and freshness👍
When growing using DWC deep water culture buckets... what levels should i keep the water throughout the grow from beginning to finish? Thanks ahead of times for any answers
As long as the roots don't get dry up top, it isn't too low -- assuming also no impact on growth. A larger reservoir is more stable to things that cause fluctuation too. Keeping it topped off is no problem. How low it can go for 'vacation time' or similar? trial and error for your environment would be the way to time that. Test on a larger plant and you will always err on safe side.
day 7 from seed (11-17-2020) this is the fastest grower in my garden so far ...will add nutrients and microbes when the plant is ready so far does not need it even at day 7😎
one day this week i woke up realizing i had this plant completely knocked over so i fixed it and stood her back up straight so the main stem bent at 90 degrees from trying to get light when it fell over lol, one day later and it has grown back to normal and is still the fastest strain so far out of the 4 strains i got going in my garden💪,it really has not needed much nutrients yet i did add some microbes in there on day 7 and cal mag and a tiny bit of general organic bio-grow... each day i've been lowering my light until i get to 3 feet then keep it at 3 feet from plant tops the rest of veg seems to do good with the cmh like this for my environment ... i like to try to get them to stretch the first 2 weeks even if i have to hold it up with something for a few days just my style of growing photos
day 21 i topped her yesterday between the 5th and 6th node, she is the only strain they seemed stressed a bit from the topping as you see in the pic but it is not too bad i know it's going have the praying leaves back by tomorrow, she's doing good and growing faster then any strain in my tent💪
day 28 from seed and i have topped her multiple times and lst the main stem, i usually only top it once at the main stem but i did multiple toppings early on this so my other plants have time to catch up, it's definitely showing the sativa dominance and wanting to grow tall.....one of the fastest growing strains i ever grew so far and this plant is soaking up more nutrients then the others too the girl can drink lol...since i already multiple topped it now i just got to wait on new branches and trying to get this ready for scrog net💪 will veg her until my net filled 70%
well i saw my plants this week looked like they had nutrient burn but i was only feeding 1/2 strength with just normal ph water after 3 feedings when i realized the leaves just appeared to looked like nutrient burn but it was just needing transplanted they were still in 1 gallon pots and forgot to transplant them, did make a few more toppings on side branches and cut off a few big leaves i plan on vegging these plants forever so why not make more bud sites, transplanted them yesterday im sure that leaf burn look will go away on the few leaves that got it😐
day 48 from seed i had a major ph problem which led to leaf burning from nutrient deficiency before i realized what had happened...i took off all the bad leaves and corrected the ph after a ph pen calibration, i ended up throwing away over half of the leaves from this plants which sucks i usually only do a mild defoliation😓 oh well still plenty of branches forming slowly of course due to multiple fimming
well that ph problem i had led to major nutrient burn so i had to get rid of half the plant but i think i got it fixed now, the burnt tips will most likely stay that way due to waiting so long.... found out when my battery was low on my ph pen i was only at 4.9 ph lucky i did not kill the plants...keep a close eyes in them batteries in your ph pen or this happens lol😟
2/14 well i finally switched these into the 12 hour flower stage, i lost half my plants branches from the ph problems i had 2 of the plants fully recovered but 2 are still pale and burnt edges because i let the ph problem go too long and almost killed them 2 plants but they are surviving but not looking the prettiest......either which way i'll get some yield from it i do not have pics right now so i posted pics of the new schedule i'm using plus i added epsom salt and unsulfured molasses,i am staying low on the nutrients for a few weeks until they seem halfway back to normal...oh i did flush the plants coco completely before i added the nutrients to transition into flower....i really messed up this grow by letting that ph problem go on for who knows how long at least 2 weeks if not longer but at least they are still alive
day 7 of flower and plants are slowly stretching and most have recovered from the ph problem i had i still believe it is slowing growth a bit from being so stressed but they are green taking the new nutrient schedule great ,already forming buds at day 7 in flower too which is cool usually takes 2 weeks for me to see lil buds forming😀
day 14 of flower and the acid dough is the biggest plant in the tent and on top of that tons of branches ( i wish i would of cloned this plant i didn't) slight smell coming in little buds already on the plant will defoliate for the last time in 6 more days, reminder for myself "why are you not taking clones ? duh! LOL" 😂
day 21 of flower (start of week 4) so i did my last leaf strip and lst the plants took the net out.... i might get a few days of stretch since i am now just taking the grow nutrient out of my feed schedule .....but i doubt it , buds will start fattening up from here on out ...i need to pick up more unsulfured molasses today and i did a 1 time transition stage feeding this time next feed all flower nutrients, the cmh light and the net during stretch did a great job of keeping the plants short and by de-leafing during stretch also help keep the plants down low which is what i wanted, overall i am happy with this grow so far😬
my cmh broke the other day so i only have 315 total watts of cmh on all 4 plants now until the light i ordered from amazon gets here should be in a few more days...anyways i will say i made it through mid bloom stage and now i am starting what i consider late bloom stage, i will try to push the limits on my nutrients this week and back off if it gets too much then in about 2 more weeks of late bloom feedings i will start the long flushing process ...i'm at the stage where the small buds get big i hope lol😂
well in about 2 weeks i'll start the flush, got my new light in 500 watt cmh that can be dimmed....also got a 10k spectrum finishing bulb i'll use during the last week for resin production ,buds slowly getting fatter just playing the wait game for now😀
i have to harvest 3 weeks early because i am moving into my new house monday and didn't want to be harvesting during my move...i lost out on 3 weeks of veg due to my mistake and now having to harvest 2-3 weeks early so i am not going to yield much but at least i got something out of it, i will update the dry weight take pics of dry buds when it's ready...it is super sticky plant and smells like sour fruit and candy😀 so even though i missed out on a good yield i still got some good weed out of it,my guess is i got 3 ounces from this 1 plant but if i did not make a mistake in veg and didnt have to harvest early would of easilly got 6 to 10 ounces so i plan on running this one again now i got my nutrient schedule fixed
this plant would of been 3 times the yield if i didnt mess up ph in veg and if i didnt have to harvest 2-3 weeks early....reminder to myself when you get this strain again remember to take clones duh lol😂
