First grow, germinated from soil under 24/0 then switched to 18/6 after sprouting. 5050 led strip was turned on day 3. Any suggestions/feedback is welcome :)

I know it isnt ideal but how bad is osmocote soil which has slow release shit for the plant? Ive heard some say it works surprisingly fine, i do plan to eventually get the canna terra range of soil and veg/flower nutrients (probs next grow)

The problem is if a plant is sensitive to it, you are stuck... i mean you can wash roots and replant, but that's not a good plan B. If it is too hot, you will simply burn the shit out of that plant. You could probably mix it in a way that ensures that will never happen and you have to add a little ferts each grow.. possibly tailored to different plants. Which kinda defeats the whole benefit of a slow release thing. I bet you can find people that make it work. If i sound all doom and gloom, it's more about the balancing act necessary to get to that point. So many variables and so much time invovled.

Thank you for posting your question! Humidity should be higher and temperature should be lower. Try raising the humidity to 60% and lowering the temperature to 26.5 degree Celsius. Include root juice and rhizotonic for faster growth during the first weeks of the vegetative phase. Good luck with your project!

Even when lights are off, bucket temperatures can reach upto 40*C rarely seeming to dip below 30, icepacks help lower temp and raise humidity for a bit, i worry the 2 passive intakes i have arent large enough, although the room itself is very warm too, air con only option?

Hi! Can you place a fan blowing air to the bucket to keep it cool? If not maybe you need to buy small extractor fan to constantly suck air from the bucket to keep it cool That amount of heat will be a problem for you for sure so something needs to be done

Good luck with your bucket! I've never been one to understand the bucket route, but each to his own! You should grab some old PC case fans and any old phone charger. Wire them up, and insert one blowing in near the bottom of your 'top bucket' and one blowing out near the top. Without proper airflow, you will heat stress the plant to death.

@TrilliumTrichomes, while i would love a full tent setup it is not an option right now, i have an inline fan cranked to the max on the spacebucket, couple inch wide passive intakes at bade of the bucket, i dont think airflow is the problem as much as the ambient temperature is, the room also got upto 40 degrees yesterday, need an air con. Thankyou :)
