finally has some space to spread out, as mostly everything else has gone outdoors. buds are forming nicely but not quite to size yet. im hoping they get alot bigger over the next few weeks but i doubt it, some hairs are already turning amber. trichomes are still clear and small though so hope it has about 3-4 weeks for buds to thicken.

Pistils / Hairs are not the best way to tell when your flushing window is open. You should wait until all of your buds have gone fat & rock-solid, check the trichomes with a magnifier/hand-held microscope, and start flushing when the trichomes are turning from clear to milky. Then, watch carefully everyday and wait for all the trichomes to be milky (some may start becoming amber, you're good to go!). I'll be around, keep us up-to-date and good luck with this beauty!

ok im on day 88 and only maybe 5% of my trichromes are amber, but the rest are milky. not sure what the inside of the bud is like but thats what i can see outside. strain info says it shouldnt pass 90 days. should i keep going for 1 more week or should i harvest?

Hi there! I'd recommend to harvest as soon as possible. Amber trichomes are signs of over-maturity, THC production has reached it's peak and is now lowing down. On the other hand, waiting a few more days after amber trichomes has appeared, will give you more CBN&CBD. Two important things to consider : the strain you're growing + the effects you're looking for. Considering you're currently growing an hybrid that is known to have a ‘couch lock’ effect, you shouldn't wait too long otherwise it will only be good at making you sleepy! I'll be around, keep us up-to-date and enjoy your harvest!

In my experience autos always go longer than the breeder advertises. If you’re seeing amber triches you can harvest anytime. Waiting for a higher percentage of triches will give you more of a mellow/sedative high. Harvest with a lower percentage of amber, more energetic. It’s up to you, but fire at will! 👍
