Germination Week Another grow diary on its way! This time we will run Blueberry from Seedsman. I will use the PC to grow this one as well and will also be DWC. 11/11/2020 Started germination of Blueberry from Seedsman for the PC grow. This guy will start outside of the PC box until grow #1 is complete and dried. I will do a write up of the PC box when we put it in and can also see the setup on my other diary. Sprayed paper towel and put the seed wrapped up inside a ziploc bag. 11/12/2020 Seed cracked open, still in the paper towel. Will probably plant tomorrow. 11/13/2020 Planted in DIY netpot with aquarium rocks and perlite. 11/14/2020 Sprouted above rocks and perlite. 11/15/2020 Helmet popped off. 11/16/2020 No change. 11/17/2020 No change. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ WATER - Used tap water for germination - pH to 6.8 - For the remainder of the grow we will use RO water and Advanced Nutrients Micro + Grow, GH Bloom and Future Harvest Calnesium. LIGHTS - Sitting on top of my houseplant light, doesn't get too warm. - Will start these seedlings under my 100W houseplant light. ENVIRONMENT Room Temp: 23.5 °C Humidity: 90-100% in bag? __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I will be updating daily and posting more pictures as I update. All comments and critiques are welcome! Cheers and stay lifted 🌱 🌱

Week 1 Vegetation Well she's sprouted! Took some time but she managed. I like to mess around...in a unique way with this hahah. She's in a yogurt container with drilled out holes, filled with perlite and aquarium rocks. I added the perlite to help retain some moisture and I didn't use a peat pellet or rockwool. 11/18/2020 Changed out the water from pH'd tap water to RO with nutes at 5.9 pH. Looks like she is slowly starting to grow. Some roots are popping out the bottom of the homemade netpot now. 11/19/2020 Leaves slowly growing. 11/20/2020 More roots popping out the bottom and looking healthy. 11/21/2020 No change. 11/22/2020 No change. 11/23/2020 Placed in the PC, will have a setup write up next week. 11/24/2020 No change. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ WATER - RO water - 1mL/L Future Harvest Calnesium - 1mL/L Advanced pH Micro - 1mL/L Advanced pH Grow - 1mL/L GHE Flora Bloom LIGHTS - Sitting under my houseplant light until PC Grow #1 is complete. - 100W 3000K LED - 18" away from light ENVIRONMENT Room Temp: 24 °C Humidity: 75% ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ All comments and critiques are welcome! Week 2 Vegetation 11/25/2020 - Starting to grow a little more, roots are growing a lot more. 11/26/2020 - Added second airstone to see if it helps with droopiness. 11/27/2020 - Starting to look less droopy and growing more. 11/28/2020 - No change. 11/29/2020 - Changed res water, ppm was 300, brought back up to 400. Plant was getting a tad yellow but this seems to be helping so far. 11/30/2020 - Lower leaves starting to dry up and get crispy. 11/31/2020 - Starting to yellow a tad ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ WATER - RO water - 1mL/L Future Harvest Calnesium - 2mL/L Advanced pH Micro - 2mL/L Advanced pH Grow - 2mL/L GHE Flora Bloom ENCLOSURE I used an old Antec 300 PC case for the grow. Something I picked up awhile ago on our local classifieds for $20. I gutted it all out and used duct tape to seal all the holes and walls. The walls are lined with white boards and white duct tape. LIGHTS - 8x 6.5W LED strip - 3000k, 85CRI, 24VDC I used a bunch of 3000K 24vdc LED strips from some shop lights I had sitting around. They are mounted on a small metal plate with an exhaust fan above to disperse light heat. I initially had around 100W but was starting to get hot and the last plant was foxtailing. The space is 0.81sq/ft and I left 52W in, still plentiful for the small space. VENTILATION - 80x80mm pc fan for intake, 12VDC - 120x120mm pc fan for light exhaust, 12VDC - 120x120mm pc fan for exhaust with carbon filters, 12VDC - Activated carbon sheets I am using one fan to disperse heat from the lights, one for exhaust with activated carbon sheets taped to it to mask smell and one for an intake. The carbon sheets held up pretty good until the last couple weeks of flower when I was forced to move it in the garage...It is currently snowing here so it ain't warm! That's what the thermostat is for, I have it wired to one outlet to plug a heater in, infront of the intake fan. The plan is to veg in my room and flower in the garage. Week 3 Vegetation Start of week three veg, we have some growth but also some problems! The RH has been super low here being winter, with the average of 30% in the house. I have been using a large ziploc bag with holes over the plant about half the day to try and keep humidity up while lights are on. I have noticed the lower leaves have started to dry up and crumble, top of the plant is starting to turn yellow a little. Not happy about something. I didn't use RO water this res change but used tap water... My tap water is 200ppm and ph 7.5. After mixing nutes I ended up 600ppm and pH 5.9. Not sure if I am underfeeding or...? Still new to hydro. 12/02/2020 - Noticing lower leaves are getting dry and crispy. - Also starting to fade in colour to a yellow 12/03/2020 - Replaced res with RO water and nutes, seems to be doing better. I believe the pH was drifting on me. 12/04/2020 - Starting to grow quicker again. 12/05/2020 - No change. 12/06/2020 - Topped plant 12/07/2020 - No change. 12/08/2020 - No change. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ENCLOSURE - Antec 300 PC Case LIGHTS - 8x 6.5W LED strip - 3000k, 85CRI, 24VDC VENTILATION - 80x80mm pc fan for intake, 12VDC - 120x120mm pc fan for light exhaust, 12VDC - 120x120mm pc fan for exhaust with carbon filters, 12VDC - Activated carbon sheets - Remote thermometer/hygrometer DWC - Air pump #1 - 1L/min - Air pump #2 - 0.5L/min - Digital thermometer - Bluelab Truncheon nutrient meter - pH pen WATER - Tap water - 2mL/L Advanced pH Micro - 2mL/L Advanced pH Grow - 2mL/L GHE Flora Bloom ENVIRONMENT Room Temp: 25 °C Humidity: 70% ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ All comments and critiques are welcome! Ph perfect products are not the best for hydro grows. I reccomend you switch to either canna aqua or Dutch nutrient formula, DNF. Both were formulated specifically for hydroponics and they have everything your plant needs for a good vigorous grow. Right now your plants are showing a cal/mg defficiency from what I can see. Ph sweet spot is 5.8 in veg and 6.2 to 6.3 for flower. 600 ppm 1.2 ec is alright for now. For hydroponics you need a ph tds 24/7 monitor like the growboss. Or bluelabs. Your ph is probably drifting with the ph perfect crap. Cheers

Week 4 Vegetation Things are starting to look better, topped last week and is recovering nicely. Plant is both taking up nutrients and water, res has been dropping from 600 to 500ppm every couple days. The plan is to use these four main branches and LST two to each side of the PC case. I will create some small holes in the white boards to use for LST. Still getting used to hydro, I always seem to mess up in the veg stage. I will be purchasing a new pH pen shortly as I have been having troubles with my current one. 12/02/2020 - Res dropped from 600ppm to 450-500ppm. Topped back up with some more water w/nutes. - Added a humidifier in front of intake fan to help with low RH. 12/10/2020 - No change. 12/11/2020 - Looking healthy and drinking. pH stable and ppm 600. 12/12/2020 - No change, new growth looks strong. 12/13/2020 - Added elastics to the white board to help with LST. - Did some LST to start training two branches out a side. - pH: 5.9 and still 600ppm 12/14/2020 - No change 12/15/2020 - Got a new pH pen...knew something was up. pH was actually drifting to 7.5... - Changed res water w/ nute + pH 5.8 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ENCLOSURE - Antec 300 PC Case LIGHTS - 8x 6.5W LED strip - 3000k, 85CRI, 24VDC VENTILATION - 80x80mm pc fan for intake, 12VDC - 120x120mm pc fan for light exhaust, 12VDC - 120x120mm pc fan for exhaust with carbon filters, 12VDC - Activated carbon sheets - Remote thermometer/hygrometer DWC - Air pump #1 - 1L/min - Air pump #2 - 0.5L/min - Digital thermometer - Bluelab Truncheon nutrient meter - pH pen WATER - RO Water - 2mL/L Future Harvest Calnesium - 2mL/L Advanced pH Micro - 2mL/L Advanced pH Grow - 2mL/L GHE Flora Bloom ENVIRONMENT Room Temp: 24 °C Humidity: 50% ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ All comments and critiques are welcome! Week 5 Vegetation I found out my pH pen was acting up on me causing another lockout, the pH was 7.5. This caused growth to become twisty and looked like it was eating the leaves away. Once I switched the water all new growth has come in nicely. Hopefully she starts to pick up again soon. I added elastics last week to help with LST, when the branches are long enough I will use those to pull them down. 12/16/2020 - ppm: 600, pH: 5.8 - New growth looking better since fixing pH 12/17/2020 - ppm: 600, pH: 5.8 - Topped up res 12/18/2020 - ppm: 650, pH: 5.8 12/19/2020 - ppm: 600, pH: 5.8 - Topped up res 12/20/2020 - No change. 12/21/2020 - pH dropped to 5, ppm rose to 800. - Replaced water at ph 5.8 and 600ppm 12/22/2020 - ph: 6, ppm: 600 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ENCLOSURE - Antec 300 PC Case LIGHTS - 8x 6.5W LED strip - 3000k, 85CRI, 24VDC VENTILATION - 80x80mm pc fan for intake, 12VDC - 120x120mm pc fan for light exhaust, 12VDC - 120x120mm pc fan for exhaust with carbon filters, 12VDC - Activated carbon sheets - Remote thermometer/hygrometer DWC - Air pump #1 - 1L/min - Air pump #2 - 0.5L/min - Digital thermometer - Bluelab Truncheon nutrient meter - pH pen WATER - RO Water - 2mL/L Future Harvest Calnesium - 2mL/L Advanced pH Micro - 2mL/L Advanced pH Grow - 2mL/L GHE Flora Bloom ENVIRONMENT Room Temp: 24 °C Humidity: 50% ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ All comments and critiques are welcome! Week 6 Vegetation Been using some elastics to help with LST and going well so far. Hoping to get all four branches close to the edge of the case before flipping and then let it grow vertically. 12/23/2020 - About to flip once she's a little bigger, moved the pc case into the garage and will continue veg in there to make sure things so smooth. - Ran out of pH grow, store didn't have any so opted for GHE Gro 12/24/2020 - Topped up res - pH: 6.0 ppm: 650 - New temp is sitting around 26-27C - New water temp is about 55-58F 12/25/2020 - No change 12/26/2020 - Before topping up res: PPM:650, pH: 6.1 - Topped up with 650ppm and ph 5.8 water 12/27/2020 - Defoliated a little bit 12/28/2020 - Didn't check 12/29/2020 - pH rose to 6.9 with ppm:1800, mind you the res was almost empty. - Refilled with 650ppm and ph 5.8 water - Switched to 12/12 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ENCLOSURE - Antec 300 PC Case LIGHTS - 8x 6.5W LED strip - 3000k, 85CRI, 24VDC VENTILATION - 80x80mm pc fan for intake, 12VDC - 120x120mm pc fan for light exhaust, 12VDC - 120x120mm pc fan for exhaust with carbon filters, 12VDC - Activated carbon sheets - Remote thermometer/hygrometer DWC - Air pump #1 - 1L/min - Air pump #2 - 0.5L/min - Digital thermometer - Bluelab Truncheon nutrient meter - Nutri + pH pen WATER - Tap Water - 1mL/L Future Harvest Calnesium - 2mL/L Advanced pH Micro - 2mL/L GHE Grow - 2mL/L GHE Flora Bloom ENVIRONMENT Room Temp: 24 °C Humidity: 50% ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ All comments and critiques are welcome! Week 1 Flower Flipped the lights to 12/12 to start flowering, we will see how much she stretches. This week I will continue veg nutes and then switch to bloom for flower next week. Come flower time I use M-G-B with a 1:1:2 ratio and have always had good results. Been monitoring ppm and pH daily to ensure the plant is getting what it needs. Hoping to see some colours with this strain with the colder temperatures. 12/30/2020 - no change 12/31/2020 - Overfeeding a little I believe, when the res was low pH rose a little along with ppm. - Pretty low so filled up 650ppm, 5.9 pH 01/01/2020 - Topped up res again, final ppm 650, pH 6.0 01/02/2020 - Topped up res again, final ppm 650, pH 6.0 - Plant is starting to drink a lot more 01/03/2020 - No change 01/04/2020 - Didn’t check 01/05/2020 - Res was empty, refilled with pH 5.79 & 750ppm - Performed a little LST ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ENCLOSURE - Antec 300 PC Case LIGHTS - 8x 6.5W LED strip - 3000k, 85CRI, 24VDC VENTILATION - 80x80mm pc fan for intake, 12VDC - 120x120mm pc fan for light exhaust, 12VDC - 120x120mm pc fan for exhaust with carbon filters, 12VDC - Activated carbon sheets - Remote thermometer/hygrometer DWC - Air pump #1 - 1L/min - Air pump #2 - 0.5L/min - Digital thermometer - Bluelab Truncheon nutrient meter - Nutri + pH pen WATER - Tap Water - 1mL/L Future Harvest Calnesium - 2mL/L Advanced pH Micro - 2mL/L GHE Grow - 2mL/L GHE Flora Bloom ENVIRONMENT Room Temp: 22 °C Humidity: 45% ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ All comments and critiques are welcome! Been away from the site a little bit while being sick. Unfortunately the one day my intake filter fell off which was helping disperse the heat. The direct hot air from the heater fried the whole plant in the PC. Sorry I don't have any pictures! Since this grow didn't turn out I figured we would put together a little stealth grow. New grow diary coming soon with details.
