I'm starting this journal very late. They're on day 32 and have entered flowering as of a few days ago. One is easily twice the size of the other. They were stretched in the early vegetation days so it's stunted their growth however they're still doing fine for their age. LED 700W 20/4 cycle. LST has been done since W3; along with defoliation of leaves that weren't getting light and leaves that were blocking bud sites.
Switched back to CFL due to LED running too hot here in summer conditions. They seem to be enjoying it although I'm not sure of the penetrating power to the lower bud sites. Any suggestions on whether I should defoliate the lower sites not getting much light would be appreciated, I'm worried it could stunt growth by stressing them.
Tricombe production has begun on the larger plant 'Butthead' a fair while ago but not yet on the smaller 'Beavis'. Interesting since Beavis is actually half a day older. Making steady progress for my second grow. Starting to smell suuuper sweet.
I feel like the genetics from this seed bank are a little weak. These are my second and third plants and so far they've all been completely different sizes (nothing big) with the exact same treatment. The smaller one's final weight was a measly 3g while the larger still underperformed only making 22g. Still tastes great though and the nugs are frosty!
I had some weird shit happen on my last ILGM Northern Autos, one that seemed stunted at the beginning ended up maturing quick into flower and harvest.
