Green Crack autoflower by fastbuds ; my 1st run from this breeder and am flabbergasted ;
Initially the seed was dipped and let to float on surface of water in 100ml of puro ro ; 0 tds 6.0 ph water having 0.1 ml of voodoo juice for 36 hours in darkness; after which the seed showed 3 to 4 mm of taproot while floating on surface!! After the ; for the first time ; i took a chance and planted it directly into the final medium of 15 liters airpot. Then generously wetting the medium and a glass on top of it; the pot was kept in darkness back again.
The next day morning was a little disaster when i saw the seedlings 'S' shaped taproot popping out on the surface of the medium!! Well ; took a chance and replanted it in the right way back in coco ; fingers crossed as it was an auto; and such disasters can affect the veg time and finally the yield of plant!!
Also some photos may look crappy as my camera broke the same day...
The next day morning ; it worked wonders and it was cracking the surface the right way ; hehe... then it was subjected to light with a glass on top at a distance of 22 inches from light!! Day 1...
Week 1;
Taking low on nutes ; the above mentioned nutes were mixed in 1 liter of pure ro ; 0 tds water which would then go up to 400 to 500 tds as the organic nutes used were in powder form. Though it never affected the plant negatively in any way as you would see in coming weeks....
Here the city greens npk used comes from organic origin too...rest all are basic fulvic , humic , bacteria , silica , all organics..
the feed was given on alternate days with pure ro feed in between them.
Week 2 of veg ;
This week ; she really did its thing and showed some sturdy growth. The above mentioned nutrients were given on alternate days with pure ro feed in between. Am aiming to give a constant necessary feed only on fixed intervals to achieve steady growth without burns. The internodes have all already started developing well. The light for now seems adequate.
Also would like to mention ; this lady was fed with 2 hours of EDM music everyday...eehhheehh
Week 3 of veg;
This week; she really bushed out on me. Seems that she is really loving the feed and the lights. Again fed on alternate days with pure ro feed in between. On day 21 ; she was LST and defoliated. Her first ever training... Also a feed in between contained specific NPK fixing bacteria.
week 4 and preflowering!!;
This week ; she started preflowering on day 25 by showing some pistils on top. Am really surprised by the stretch she is getting after this. Again the feed was given on alternate days with pure ro feed in between them that contained mycorrhizae fungi.
Week 5 ; flowering;
This week ; the budlets have started to form. Also she is taking in all the nutes provided to her without burns. The stretch is freaking me out. The intensity of light was set to 144 watts to be exact...Also she is drinking heavily for creating this stretch possible. The above mentioned nutes were given on alternate days of week with pure ro feed in between them.
Week 6; flowering;
This week; she is really digesting all that is given to her without showing any deficiencies at all.... Started giving her molasses as it has worked wonders for me before. Aslo she is a heavy drinker for water. The feed given on alternate days with pure ro feed in between them.Excelling very well. Loving the genetics..
week 7 ; flowering;
This week ; saw a little tip burn and decided to provide her with only sustainable nutes. The above mentioned nutes were given on alternate days with pure ro feed in between them. She recovered well after this weeks low feed.
week 8 ; flowering;
This week ; she really filled up or plumped up well. The flush in week before really got her going back on track for nutes. Though not getting overambitious ; started out with low on nitrogen and feeded her on every consecutive days without flushing. She handled the feed really well. She will be coming to end soon.
week 9 ; flowering;
This week she has started to go dense. Thick with resin. Fragrant like pure raw green mango. Took a chance and upped the nutes to 1100 to 1400 ppm and she is loving it. When the lights go out; its like a fruit forest!!! Will be testing some of it soon.....
week 10; flowering;
This week ; decided to flush her out totally with ICE and chilled water for the whole week. During this; she started fading and showing some impressive hues of red with orange pistils. The fragrance is now truning dank or one could say ripe!!! she is almost ready for harvest. Took a testing last week ; dried for 4 days and toked ; for instance i thought it was summer and were eating mangoes when burped. The high was so energizing that i felt happy and blessed and devilish at the same time!!! I suppose thats the reason you call it Green Crack!! Well she is going total deadpool on me!!!
week 11 ;
this week ; the fragrance really started showing up which was of strong green mangoes and skunky too. The buds have swelled up really well and on the last day of flower ; day 74 ; the trichomes were 10% amber. Still flushing everyday with pure ro ice. Harvested on day 75th!!! The stems/tops are really leaning downwards and the leaves have all been shredded. Even the stems seemed yellowing!! She is ripening as intended!!
Green Crack ; as the name suggests ; very unique mango flavored strain with very potent resin production and good yields considering the small time frame she gets to harvest. The first flowering signs were displayed on day 24 and i thought that the harvest would be low. Surprisingly ; she stretched to triple her size after that. The budsites were very closely packed and she quickly completes the flowering cycle in 5 to 7 weeks. Use alot of organics as she loves it; also LST is mandatory as she tends to get rather bushy if not done properly. Also a little HST at growth ends of the branches shall help you keep her short with some extra bulk on those buds. She loves all the stress you could provide her ; until fed accordingly and rather heavily i would say.
