This is my 2nd Blue Frost grow, its 1g per watt average flowers and are amazingly hard and potent beautiful buds. I cant wait to see what these $350 each natural sunlight bulb do, I noticed the difference within 24hr. I'll never use a regular MH again. It was like I moved indoor plants outdoors, I was so surprised to see how fast the plants liked the bulb. Ive never seen a difference that these bulbs made In my 30+ years of growing, for growth and smell. My house has a few moms and its smells like I have a bunch on flower for 30 days :))
Every clone rooted nicely. Very healthy babies, as they started growing 4 days after I cut them. I give credit to the new bulb. After I finished transplanting they got their first taste of Remo Nutrients. I feed them just corrected pH distilled water up until transplant, (today). I cant say enough good things about the HORTILUX Daylight Blue Metal Halide.
I'll keep them in the cups for 1 week then transplant into 3 gallon fabric pots. I only need 40 so the best looking ones will get choosing.

I'll be keeping one in=between two super HPS when I switch to 12/12.
I transplanted them 7 days after I put them In the cups. Roots where nice and healthy, I'm still given credit to the EYE Hortilux 1000W Daylight Blue, it produces a Daylight spectrum with UV (Ultra Violet) light. Its the closets you can get to Sunlight. I'll be leaving one in-between two EYE Hortilux Super HPS 1000W... Now I'll move them into my tent and veg for 2 weeks, get our ScrOG going. Then flower for 75 days. I gave them Remo twice this week, and yesterday when transplanted... Any questions please don't hesitate to ask. Happy growing!
I'm going to spreed them out this week, I'm thinking 7 more days then flower. These where taking Monday I'm just late adding to my diary. I'll be adding my ScrOG as well this week and start LST and start to lollipop These stretch is about 60-70% so I'd like them about 20-24 inches before flower.
This week I'll lower the ScrOG and start lst/hst, get a nice canopy, lollipop and get these beautiful ladies on flower. My temps and humidity have been spot on. I feed them every 24 hours with Remo nutrients every watering. Its gets pricey, but well worth it for the end results. I just switched over to Remo at the end of last batch. I notice a big difference in fan leaves size. pH is around 6-6.2 I find it very important to keep your pH consistent, or you'll run into problems like nutrient lockout ECT. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
This was my final week of Veg. Goes on 12/12 today for 70 days +/-... The next three weeks I'll LST them as best as possible without any stress as they do their stretching. They are very very healthy. My goal is 2+ OZ per plant or 1g per watt. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask... Happy Growing!
The first week of flower went well, my heat got to 85f twice. We had a few warm days. Its back down to 79-80f day and 75f at night. Everything looks great, I haven't had 1 leaf turn yellow or any sign of deficiencies. I think the bulb thats like a Sun in a bottle is amazing, I dont think its stretching as much as I have one in the middle of 2 HPS. I took down my expensive LED light to test it... pH steady 6-6.2 and humidity stays at 45%. I'll keep LST for two more weeks as they finish their stretch then start staking them up to hold the buds weight. They get rock hard and the branches cant hold the weight... Any questions please don't hesitate to ask!
2 weeks today on flower. They stretched much more the second week then the first. This should be the last week of stretching and should just fill out after this next week for 7 weeks longer. Very long flower period for a hybrid. Any questions please don;t hesitate to ask!
Not much stretching the third week of flower more swelling out and getting frosty :) the most was week 2. I raised the 3 lights to the top, now going into week 4 it should stop stretching and the flowers should swell out from here till the end. These flowers get very heavy around week 5-7 and need support or will break (flowers get rock hard and very dense). I do have 4 more nets coming, but I'll be supporting branches before they get too heavy. No sign of any deficiencies at any stage. Any questions please dont hesitate to ask. Happy Growing!
Looking great, 28 days on flower. Buds are getting fuller. starting to need support. I had a few bottom leaves use up their energy and died off. I do have more support to put up this week. Any questions please dont hesitate to ask.... Happy Growing!
Week 5 of flower went great, you see the flowers swelling up everyday and looks like its starting to mature. 5 Weeks to go as it has a 70 day flower period. No deficiencies at all, a few bottom leaves have died from using their energy up. I got up 2 more nets and straightening them up. The smell is very strong, its like a berry exotic fruity smell this round. Might have to do with my new light that's creates UV and is as close to the sun as possible, was expensive but I love it, my plants look different and so many trichomes. I liked it so much I took all my LED's down. Or I changed to Remo Nutrients. Maybe both LOL... 3 Weeks I'll drop my temps down to 75f day/65f night for the last 2 weeks. Humidity I'll try and keep around 40% as I rather play it safe for PM. I dont use spays or pesticides as I make rosin and use my pucks for edibles. I haven't had a bug or PM problem in about 10 years. Keeping your room and equipment clean are essential IMO ... Any questions please don't hesitate to ask... Happy growing!
Week 6 went well, no issues. There swelling up nicely and turning purplish blue. Last run they went 69 days. Its a 70+/- day flower, long for a hybrid. Last batch I did have a deficiency right after I switch to 12/12 but took care of it right away and still did well, but it did take 10 weeks on flower. This batch I switch nutrients and got a HID UV bulb. Looks like I'll only be able to go to 9 weeks as its maturing up, the smells are more berry, tropical this run as well. The AstroFlower really helped with smells IMO. Any questions please dont hesitate to ask.
Week 7, they just keep fattening up while maturing. Around 2 weeks left and the fall colors are coming in nicely. My goal was 2 OZ per plant but by looks it'll be way pass that. The smell and size is different this run, but I switch to a better line of nutrients and added a HID UV bulb that I call "sun in a bulb". Was pricey but well worth it for the quality I was looking for. I took down my LED and replaced it with that bulb and happy I did. Any questions please dont hesitate to ask!
Week 8 went well... The flowers are turning purple and blue as there maturing up with a heavy berry tropical smell. All the nice fall colors are coming in. I'm leaching now and will put up one more post before harvest in the next 4-5 days. I'm looking for around 20% amber. Any questions please dont hesitate to ask!
Fuck yea, you’ve got my attention. This is gonna be sweet to follow. Good luck, looks like you got a solid program in place. What can you tell us about this pheno you’re running? Thanks in advance
@HighAltitudeOrganics, Hello, I got these Blue Frost seeds from a BC Producer. I took 30 seeds and picked out the best one I liked for a mom. Some had more of its moms trait and some more on the father side... Mine, IMO it's more on its fathers side. It take's about 70-75 days on flower, very long for a hybrid but well worth it. Its around 22% to 30% for my rosin presses, very impressive. Taste like berries with a very pungent smell. Buds are extremely tight... Its hard to find info on this strain. This is the best link I could find.
