Tranquilizing Mendo Purple Kush- Pheno 1

NorthernFrostCannabis Every clone rooted nicely. Very healthy babies... After I finished transplanting they got their first taste of Remo Nutrients. I feed them just corrected pH distilled water up until transplant, (today). I cant say enough good things about the HORTILUX Daylight Blue Metal Halide. I'll keep them in the cups for 1 week then transplant into 3 gallon fabric pots. I only need 20 so the best looking ones will get choosing. I'll only be keeping one pheno for a mom out of the two. NorthernFrostCannabis I transplanted them 7 days after I put them In the cups. Roots where nice and healthy, I'm still given credit to the EYE Hortilux 1000W Daylight Blue, it produces a Daylight spectrum with UV (Ultra Violet) light. Its the closets you can get to Sunlight. I'll be leaving one in-between two EYE Hortilux Super HPS 1000W... Now I'll veg for 2-4 weeks, get our ScrOG going. Then flower for 55-65 days. NorthernFrostCannabis After taking with the producer I received the beans from I was told my strain is Mendocino Purple Kush. It was just advertised as Purple Kush. I loved the flower a lot so got a few beans off them. These will get separated in rows of 4 and veg around 10-14 more days. Its my first grow with this strain, any advice is appreciated. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

NorthernFrostCannabis I'll get my net up this week and start training these amazing girls with LST/HST, FIMing ECT and get a ScrOG going. This Pheno looks amazing, the colors and looks are one of the most beautiful strains Ive grown in the past 30+ years. Pheno 1 is much taller then Pheno 2.... NorthernFrostCannabis They'll be put on flower this weekend. By looking this is the Pheno 1, I'll be keeping it. Pheno 2 is much harder to grow and its leaves have a deformity like the seed did, I think it carried over... Its started to pop out 9 finger leaves, I cant wait to see this lady 4 weeks into flower as its so beautiful now. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

NorthernFrostCannabis Today I put on 12/12... There very healthy and beautiful girls. Pheno 1 is 24" as Pheno 2 is 12" So I spread out Pheno 1 and bunched up Pheno 2. Very excited for this one, as all the Mendo PK Ive seen grown looks so good... When I got the flower from the BC producer, I had to ask him for beans. I got lucky he had a few left :))

NorthernFrostCannabis First week of flower went great, not much stretching. I'm thinking its because of my new light that's the closet to Sunlight on the market, expensive but worth every penny. I took down my LED and using strictly HID. I cant be happier with switching to Remo Nutrients as the difference is amazing, from smell, size and colors ECT, even my house plants. You can see where I started feeding them Remo. I haven't lollipop these one, there more bushing out then stretching and its my first run with this strain. If anyone can add advice or have any question, please don't hesitate... Happy Growing All!

NorthernFrostCannabis Looking great, not much stretch the second week of flower. No deficiency, everything is going perfect. I like growing this Pheno much better then Pheno 2 as its needs less care as in defoliation, and is not like the extreme bushiness of Pheno 2. I read there is 4 Pheno of Mendo PK??? Any questions please dont hesitate to ask.

NorthernFrostCannabis Everything looks great, but my tops are going shinny, just on this Pheno my Blue Frost and Pheno 2 look normal. I thought it might be too much silicate but there's not much in Remo Nutrients. And its only doing it on this Pheno. The other Pheno and Blue Frost are feed the same. Im going to do a little flush or leach and see if it helps. If anyone knows why it would be greatly appreciated for your comment. Any questions please dont hesitate to ask. Happy Growing!

NorthernFrostCannabis Great 4th week with no issues. Did i bit a defoliation for the last time. The smell reminds me of Wedding Cake, a little sweeter. Pheno 1 I think will be around 20-22% bit lower then Pheno 2. Temps will get lowered week 7 of flower for the last 2 weeks. 75f day/65f night... Wedding Cake is in my top 5 ATM so I'm so excited for this strain. I'm ordering some big C-Vaults for curing. Ive never used one, but I plan on a slow cold dry and cure. IMO curing its just important as growing, 50/50 ... Pointers or Any questions please don't hesitate to ask, happy growing!

NorthernFrostCannabis Week 6 went great. Its looking like a 9+ week Pheno, not like Pheno 2 that's 7-8 weeks. It smells a bit sweeter then Pheno 2, more grape like sweetness then gas but both very similar, mouth watering :) sorry for the lack of pictures, my batteries died in my cam. NorthernFrostCannabis Week 7 went great, my first run with this Pheno. I still need to learn how much she like to eat ECT (fine tune)... Its a 9+/- week strain, has a strong sweet smell, its more on the Purple Afghani. side IMO as Pheno 2 is more on the Hindu Kush side. Both have that sandalwood smell, Pheno 1 is much sweeter though... I'll start leaching about one more week. Any question please dont hesitate to ask!
