That big leaf is producing vast amounts of energy for your plant to grow. It is also providing the energy to grow that shaded node/branch you are worried about. Removing that big, green, healthy leaf will just lower your plants ability to produce energy, slowing growth. Hope this helps.... Organoman.

Yes. I strongly suggest you do. You don't have to but what if recommend is cutting about 20% off from the lowest point on the plant. And then removing some of (but not all) the biggest fan leaves near the top of the plant. 🌱👍This will improve light penetration, airflow and bud size and quality.
