Crystal Candy XL Auto
One single plant underneath the TS-1000 grown in a 3 gallon smart pot. LST will be done to spread out the canopy, even though I know the light keeps them short and compact. Utilize the new items for training, give them a good workout.
11/11/20:
Dropped one seed into water, solo cup is labeled, resting downstairs on heat mat. 5 gallon smart pot with Gaia Green mixed in. The only plant inside the budroom, unless I deem the new solo cup grows worthy of sharing the space.
13/11/20:
Moved onto paper towel. Once root makes an appearance, I will begin to prepare the soil.
14/11/20:
Little nub of a tail sticking out, but not enough to be planted.
15/11/20:
7:45am - long root, definitely needs planting
3:15pm - (after I finally finished trimming other plants) root is overgrown, and the shell fell off when trying to plant it. Need not worry though, as this happens often.
9:30pm - I could see the cotyledons were trying to stretch upwards toward the light, a good sign.

Wakey wakey, hands off your snakey!
Today is the first day of the rest of your life, so make it a good one. Leaves are spread open and showing some nice colour. Soil is still moister than usual after the first night, but that's because I gave it a thorough soaking. I'm sure I will be watering again by Wednesday (18th), or Thursday (19th) at the latest. True leaves are already visible, they should be prominent by the morning.

17/11/20:
Soil was dry enough today that I gave it a thorough soaking, but no water leakage. True leaves are spread open as far as the dicots are, well into the beginning of it's seedling phase.
18/11/20:
Everything is looking good. First set of true leaves are spreading out at an acceptable rate. I can't yet say if there is a noticeable difference in nutrients, but I'm sure it will be visible by next week. Top layer of soil was very dry, but when lifted, I found still feel the heft. Since I'm not using liquid nutrients, I'm not going to stick with a watering schedule, and merely water as it's needed.
20/11/20:
Gave it a thorough watering. True leaves are getting nice and long, it will be very soon when the second set begins to appear. Growth is good, no indication that it is better or worse than previous strategies.
22/11/20:
Coming along nicely, no signs of any issues. Haven't watered in a few days, as the pot still feels moist enough to last until tomorrow.

* Decided to water the plants anyhow, might as well keep up with watering from the start. First week was excellent, leaves are growing at a steady rate. Depending on the size and overall structure, I plan on administering some LST in the upcoming weeks. I don't want to start too soon, but I also don't want to wait until after it begins flowering. The decision will be made at the time it's needed.
24/11/20:
Took a peak I side the tent, and noticed a change. The leaves are definitely much larger than yesterday, but that's expected during vegetation. I'm tempted to add in another plant, as there is technically room for it, but it will take away from the light intensity that this plant is receiving. I'm trying my hardest to hold off, as I truly want this to be a one plant grow experience.
25/11/20:
Gave the plant a thorough watering. I'm going to keep this plant on a strict watering schedule. As I'm not needing to mix the nutrients, I might as well provide more frequent waterings.
27/11/20:
Gave another healthy dosage of water. Growth is looking quite excellent for such a young plant. Leaves are spreading out very nicely.
29/11/20:
Plant is looking very good. New leaves seem to be appearing everyday. Height is still quite compact, hopefully it remains that way and I won't need to administer some LST.

7/12/20:
Plant is now into flowering, I decided to administer some LST to spread it out a bit. Use of garden staples will be the method this time. Plant was likely to remain small anyhow, but I wanted to maximize the yield.
8/12/20:
More staples added to keep additional branches the sane height. Plant recovered very well.
9/12/20:
Finally added in the bloom nutrients, 30ml per gallon brings it to 90 ml, or 3 tbs in total. Watered in thoroughly. Plant should start to receive nutrients in soon, and I might see a growth spurt by the weekend. Even after only a few days into the fourth week, it seems like it will live up to it's specifications and be a very fast flowering variety.
10/12/20:
Decided to LST this plant, even though it wasn't growing overly tall. Now it's just a short compact bush.
Sorry this took so long to complete. I am looking forward to trying this one out again. I purchased the Fast Flowering version as well, excited for that one.
