So I took these clones back on the 18th of OCT. (Writing this on 11/18/20). I didn't really have a plan for them other than I felt bad for cutting up the mother.
So a total of 40 were taken, but I got lazy one night and forgot to refill my humidifier which almost killed about half of them. A total of 23 made it ( i just sprayed them with plain water every other day until they rooted).
They took about 14 days to root, and after that they just chilled in various places (indoor, a tent outdoors, and then back inside)
The bigger ones are about 2 weeks older than the bunch.
With no idea what to do with these clones they just keep growing, slowly.
The older ones have been vegging about 2 weeks longer than the bunch.
I'm using some old t8 fixtures with the led replacement bulbs.
This week I decided to just throw everything outside. Winter gets down to about 40⁰ here so I don't expect any yield, but I also don't want to waste more time/resources on these clones.
I had a bin with old dirt (from other harvests) and I decided to recondition it and tossed in some dry amendments to replace some nutrients.
I'll be adding a tiny ceramic heater, but I'm going to try and get creative on how to trap the heat. Hopefully I don't just burn shit down instead 😂
Finished transplanting the last 5 ladies, i didn't feel like training them so I cheated and transplanted at an angle. So no need for a tie down, and she should straighten herself out.
This is going to be a lazy grow, if you want more photos than I'm posting just comment and I'll try and get a few more up
The ladies are chugging along just fine, some stretch and pre flower is in full swing. The night's her really cold and humid which is no good in flower. But they are still going strong.
Can you breed cold hardiness into cannabis?
Maybe I can use these ladies to breed.....
I rotated the greenhouse to allow for direct sunlight for a longer time. They are just getting molasses in their water and the Dr earth mixed into the soil. They seem to be doing fine but there hasn't been any rain yet so we'll see what the next week's bring
Were at day 3 of week 5.
Not much progress, it's definitely to cold for the lady's, particularly the roots. The greenhouse is laughable at best.
If worse comes to worse i can still toss the tops in some rubbing alcohol (old school remedies). So it won't be a total loss.
