Red. Hot. Cookies!

Welcome to the first week of vegetation for my red hot cookies! She’s doing fine so far, I’m not quite sure when I should give my plants calmag... maybe next week. I fertilise them pretty vigorous, as I want to know how much I can get out of my plants. I have the whole lineup from greenbuzz liquids, and right now I use growzyme, more roots, humic acid plus since a week and grow liquid since yesterday in a bit less concrentration. High! It’s the second week of vegetation for my red hot cookies, and she’s doing perfectly fine; big leaves and a good structure within the internodes. I shaved her first node, those first branches never get thick or strong, so the energy will be focused in the upcoming ones. Still I’m not quite sure which technique im going to do, maybe one time topping and then let them grow naturally without LST, I’ll need tocheck due to the limited space.

Im sorry for this shitty pictures this week. Wasn’t at home and non-plants fanatics don’t do 3 pictures of one plant😅 The pictures were made before watering, and the last watering was on Thursday so they might got a bit drought, at least that’s what it looks like to me... this week they just received organic grow liquid, would’ve been to complicated and long to explain the fertilisers. I transplanted them into 8 Liter fibre pots, which is perfectly fine! They fit really good, let’s see how it’s going in the next weeks as I’m not sure yet if I should not top them maybe, so they don’t get too wide... Sorry that this is just copy paste on all my plants this week, but from those pictures I can’t say that much, as the pictures were made before watering and I don’t know if they’re really healthy.. see you next week with better pictures and text😘

Welcome to the fourth week of vegetation for my Red hot cookies! With this week the better photographing is established😉 I topped them (except the gorilla glue) a few days ago and they all seem to thrive now. I also added fast buds from Greenbuzz liquids yesterday, let’s see if it really shortens the flowering time! I regulated the LED down to 25%, because I had the feeling that they were having light stress, now they look way more healthy. The red hot cookies is one or the most beautiful strains in this grow so far; even canopy, not a single sign of stress when all others had symptoms of light stress, healthy green and fast growth. So far I can recommend this strain 💯 Let’s see how she’ll perform in stretch. Talking about stretching, I thought about switching the light in 9 days, but maybe that’s a bit much, taking the fast growing of all my plants in concern...but I’ll give them at least 7 more days❤️ See you next week!

Welcome to the fifth week of vegetation for the red hot cookies! I decided to do a small LST/HST to her, because otherwise the branches wouldn’t grow even. Tomorrow I’ll switch the lights to 12/12 and next week you shouldn’t see any pot or floor, at least I hope so😅 See you!

Welcome to the first week of flowering for the red hot cookies! I switched the light to 12/12 seven days ago and the stretch begins now. Sadly there’s a pretty poor branching on most of my plant, might be because the didn’t got defoliated and it got quite messy around my babies! I turned the LED on 100% now and hung her a bit higher, so there shouldn’t be light damage. They receive flowering nutrients now (organic bloom liquid) mixed with grow liquid. Next week it’s only bloom liquid. I really hope with the aggressive defoliation I did today, that the branches are going to bounce back and grow a lot more, otherwise the harvest might be way smaller than I thought... Red hot cookies is doing fine so far. See you next week!

Welcome to the second week of flowering for my red hot cookies! She’s an absolute beast regarding the growth. I mean look at her leaves this week and compare it to her last week! I’m Big fan of her😁 I swopped her with the Bruce cookies, because now she has more space to spread her wings! You can already see the Indica influence on her leaves. Really excited about the next weeks! See you!

Welcome to the third week of ,,flowering“ after switching the lights. My sweet seeds genetics are the only ones showing signs of flowering yet. She looks healthy and has a vigorous growth, I need to defoliate her every two days, in order to keep her in form. In two days you won’t be able to see the pots or the ground😅 I doubled the nutrition because the plants seem to be hungry, as they don’t have so many branches. So far I’m thinking about sticking back to biocanna after this grow, green buzz liquids seems to be pretty weak. Never had this problem of small branches. Welcome to my red hot Cookies diary! So far not the fattest buds, maybe she’ll swell some more within the next weeks, although there are no new white pistils shooting out of calyxes... A macro-closeup from the calyxes shows that there are definitely some brown trichomes, should I harvest her in the next week?

I harvested the main-colas of the red hot cookies last week, now the lower buds have the chance to grow a bit more until the final harvest which should be accomplished in 2 weeks or so. The trichomes are mostly clear right now, but they ripe quite fast

Beautiful colour-change this week on my red hot cookies. Also she’s only receiving clean tap-water now. I think she should be ready for harvest next week:) see you then!

Maybe two more weeks for her, smell is already really cookie-like! Super frosty as well!

Welcome to the harvest report on my red hot cookies! I received these seeds from sweet seeds, so first of all a huge shoutout to the team at sweet seeds❤️ The genetic lineage really got me excited when I first heard about this strain, so I really wanted to try her out. Luckily I got the chance and I directly planned them into my next indoor grow. GROWTH: This strain grew as one of the fastest in my tent, sadly she didn’t had the best branching, but that was due to not enough water in a time when I was in holidays for 2 weeks. But still she managed to build some nice internodes when I switched to flowering, so she was fine. She also grew quite grazile, not the hugest fanleaves, might be an interesting choice for sea-of-green-growers! In flowering, you might guess it, I was super excited about the red/purple colour. Sadly I had a ,,normal“ (this strain is everything but normal) phenotype, which had a small colour-cGange in late flowering into a nice purple/green! I harvested her after 7 weeks of flowering, which is super fast in my opinion, especially for a strain that strong!! SMELL: 10/10 The smell is really sweet, kinda like berries or candies! But there’s definitely a big influence of cookies to smell. I really love it, it’s some sort of warm and fruity smell which just makes it special. It’s also extremely loud, so you really need to check where you open your baggy😅 SMOKE: 7/10 Well, I need to say that the smoke wasn’t the smoothest the first few joints i smoked from her😅 the smoke itself is really heavy and cloudy, which is super sexy in my opinion😍 but still it’s kinda rough and heavy for your lungs. EFFECT: 10/10 The effect is sooo nice and strong, I love it! It’s energetic, euphoric and trippy. Everything I am looking for in a hybrid strain. It also gives you the creativity, well kind of a crackhead-creativity but still!🤣 This strain is a one-hit-wonder, we took one hit and we were nearly instantly high as kites, I’m just amazed by the strength. Usually I don’t grow a strain several times because I want to grow as many strains and experience as many effects as possible, but this one is a keeper. That’s why I decided to grow her in my outdoor-season this year, as she’s also super-easy with 7 weeks of flowering. As well I’m thinking about doing an indoor-grow just with red hot cookies✌️ Well now you can see how happy I am with this one, I hope you enjoyed the diary as much as i did!
