Seed starting out strong. Sunk in water on day 2 and cracked on day 3 then went into the starter. I'll get her into a small container w/ #4 soil (USA) once she anchors her root. I'll be running nectar for the gods. Using it currently and it works wonders. I started the seed with bloom kaos, it is a kelp extract, kelp and seaweed have large amounts of natural growth hormones. I used it as a soke for the seed and for misting clones with. I use 1/16 of dosage and it really helps.
So I moved the clone of Banana Kush into the flower tent to start her cycle with her mom. I applied the first application of colloidal silver to her bottom nodes.. I will apply the solution daily to the same nodes for the next 2 weeks and hopefully she will grow Male pollen sacs at the node sites. I'm using earth born products 100ppm colloidal silver. I use a Q-tip to apply the solution. The purple Trainwreck is just entered seedling stage.
transplanted to a 1 gal., staked, and put a bigger fan in. it was getting a little warm in the tent. The trainwreck's lankyness is evident in her stem, had to pull her back a little to straiten out. She has some fat indica leaves. Gave her a small feed at the beginning of her week. (Fridays)
Did some more training and topping. Also gave her a healthy feed.(870ppm), she is sucking the nutes down. She is taking to the training well. The bottom branches like to stretch a little. And the center is opened up well for good penetration.
I let her side branches out of training. When I flip her to flower next week, the 8 main coals will catch up and make a more even cannapee. The topped sites are also putting out a 3rd, so instead of 2 off shoots from topped sites there is 3....I'm going to have to start her flower in the veg tent for a week or 2 due to space constraints in the flower tent. She is also being N hungry.
The day after I added the Bio-bizz Acti-Vera she just went wild. definite good stuff. I didn't realize aloe was good for plants. She's going to end a big girl with tuns of bud sites. She it topped to have 8 main colas 4 side branches and tuns off-shoots of the side branches.
Yea, flower time. Going to be flushing her this week, she is starting to stretch. She will have 7 more days in this tent before she is transfer to the big tent, where she can spread out. I am going to scrog her to help with support. She is a little lanky. Definatly has a rosemary/ pine smell to her for the moment.
She is taking 1 heavy feed(1100ppm), and 1 small feeds(750ppm) a week. She is loving nutes. She is getting a little stretchy. Smells of rosemary and pine with a lemony touch. She is also handleing the warm small tent at 82°F no problem.
Week 3 of flower, the buds are starting to form, she dosnt stretch a whole bunch, I also have her stretched out as well. I have been putting a bout 5ml/gal or coconut water in with feed, the sugar should help the microbes, instead of molasses or other carb food for microbes.
Week 4 and trichromes are just starting to form, she has a week rosemary piney smell. Very short, compared to the big ones I'm used too. Maybe only stretched 70-80%. Bud formation is profuse, I am finishing up pruning this week and then I'll just let her do her thing. Raised her ppm to 1500 this week. I think I'll call it Capt. Hook, the genetic anomaly is making the leaves look like it's a hook.
She's coming along nicely, she is feeding very heavy, I had to adjust her nute ratios, she still eating up Nitrogen like she is in veg. She is getting frosty. She smells of that undeniable cannabis smell and pine/rosemary with a sweet berry undertone.
Slowed her feed way down this week and next before my flush, I added molasses to my last couple feed. She smells like grape jelly when you touch her, cant wait to get her into a jar...
She is coming along nicely. This is her last week running molasses and terpinator with microbes.
The molasses has helped a lot. Her stigmas are turning a burnt orange color and that grape jelly smell has started to morph into a grape pine with a hit of menthol at the back end. 2 weeks of flush to get that white ash.
Starting her flush this week a couple Amber's have popped up so she is getting close day by day. 2 more weeks I'm guessing. Nothing but distilled from hear on out. Home stretch.
She is looking great now in the last week I'm thinking, Amber's are popping up everywere I'm looking. Diving her a nothe 5-7 days and then, OFF WITH HER HEAD...its funnier how we baby them just to kill em..AMAZING smell, strong sweet berry followed by citrus piney, rosemary. She has packed the weight on like she is on the american diet..haha...
This was a fun grow, it tested my skills with nutrient regimens. She is in a whole different class of feeding, she took as much Nitrogen in flower as she did in veg. Potassium, and magnesium levels needs to be elevated as well. That being said she grew like a champ. Putting the ph to 6.4-6.6 was the sweet spot for uptake of those micros to avoid deficiency. She is definatly a day time chill, not sleepy at all, I get alert & chill at the same time.....the high comes on like a fruit train, with in a couple min you are feeling the full effect and it last a couple hours depending on how much you smoke...the high is pleasant, not overpowering, clear headed without the anxiety, and a good light body buzz..good for going out for a hike.
The growth of this plant is a little slow in veg and if you want to have a big plant you have to veg it for at least 10 weeks in my opinion, it doesn't stretch at all when you do the flip to flower. It stays short and needs support about tord the end of her flower cycle. That being said, the smoke and the aroma is AMAZING... my pheno held true to her roots of Trainwreck. Strong citrus fuel flowery, no stinky. Smoke is smooth provided I flushed her soil to 227ppm. Definatly worth the grow in the end.
After 2 week cure, she smells of citrus lavender and spicy....tast is hazy pine
Started her training today...haha...her leaves are putting off a grappie spicey smell...hmmm...think it's the prelude to her grand stink. I'm going to be putting her into flower on week 6 or maybe 7 depending on how well her training goes.
@EarthAlkemist, I would start your train now to get the best structure possible. Then give 2-3 more weeks to veg then flip to 12/12(flower/bloom)
They are showing some vigorous growth and the deep dark green is a sure sign of a healthy plant :)
Nice update :)
Kind regards
Team-HSO..
She is now in the flower tent, I poofed her out. I spread most of her branches out, opened up the center a bunch. There are branches everywere. Her smell is like raw sugar & rosemary.
@EarthAlkemist, That will definitely help my friend :)
Everyone wants those beautiful purple/Blue colours :)
With purple Trainwreck you should see lots of purple hues in the end product
;;)
Kind regards
Mark..
Her stigmas are starting to turn a beautiful rust color. She is getting there. She will get 2 more nute mix and then I'll start her flush. I like to see a couple Amber's pop up on before starting flush for 2 weeks. She still has 3 weeks at very least.
@EarthAlkemist, I agree mate. She still has a good 21 more days until she is finished :)
1 more week of feed then a 2 weeks flush is going to give you some excellent end product. Filled with flavour and free from nutrients :)
Getting closer each update :)
Kind regards
Team-HSO..
The grape smell hasn't gone just melded into a more floral berry undertone. I prefer the citrus, fuel, pine smell. It's all sativa trapped in a indica plant body is my best description on how it grows. The effect is sativa all day. With slight indica body buzz..
Good thing I harvested when I did, on a couple of the buds I found Male pollen sacks/bananas (not the good kind) could of been stress or her last ditch effort to pollinate herself...
She looks like she will be easy to flush, I was trying to keep up with her elevated nute needs most of the grow. The smell is phenomenal definatly worth it I think.
When in Rome....I defoliated and switched her to flower this am. Switched the light spectra to red dominate. She is going to be running the same light schedule as the flower tent and transferred when I cut down the Banana OG.
Transplant shock? What transplant shock?....hahaha.. with great white I did not experience transplant shock when I transplanted her, might have been bloom kaos too. IDK, it works if you work it..
I got a couple extra things today. Great white myccorhizea, and the Kracken, I'm picking up bio-bizz acti-vera in a couple days. Hydroshop was out but put in an order for me.
I topped her before her dark period. I feel like they come back a little faster if you too before dark periods. Going to give her a bloom kaos solution to get her going when she wakes up.
Gave her her first axual feed today. ppm was 542. She was looking like she was ready. She will be fed once a week up until 1-2 weeks befor harvest. 5-6 weeks of veg and then into the flower tent.going to be topped and trained. A clone or 2 will be made & gifted to fellow grower to work with.
Transplanted to a little bit bigger pot, and kick the light to full power. She will be getting into a 1 gallon in a couple weeks and then into a 3 gallon for flower
The clone lived! It started to show roots so put it into some #4 and filled the catch tray with some water and sealed the tent to rock some humidity. Also put the PTrainwreck in some soil as well. Hasn't popped to the surface but the root has anchored. Did a micro feed of cal-mag & biobiz bloom & fishmix for the clone @ 1/8 of strength. It used a lot of its stores in the leaves.
