Last few days on Thursday and Friday for these girls under the T5. They saw new light from my new 630w cmh light. On Sunday they will be transplanted to their new home in 30 gallon containers of build a soil 3.0 with their recommended blend of kashi, worms, vermicompost, cover crop and special living soil nutrient blend.
Having trouble keeping humidity up as my grow is in the basement. Have home humidifier set to 35% but not enough even with a humidifier in the tent set to 60. Lights out isn’t an issue, it’s when lights on and the 6” exhaust is running that my temps are good but rh too low.
UPDATE 12/21: The girls are back on track I fixed the whole home humidifier and added more humidifiers so my humidity is up to 50s. Plants are extremely healthy and the soil ecosystem is dreamy. Lots of worms at subsurface, cover crop is spreading and growing well and the plants are loving life.
Started to train the big plant, going to wait at least another 2 weeks to flip them into flower.
Watering every three or so days as I was able to bring up the humidity to near 60 and the pots have been staying nice and moist.
Hit with neem at beginning of week and will continue running an integrated pest management system with essential oils, neem (w bronners), mindful watering and overall grow tent cleanliness.
Current challenges; black fungus gnats (they have degraded since I cut back on watering and introduced sticky traps)
This week will see the introduction of the scrog as well as an integrated pest management program with essential oils one week and neem oil the next. The intent is to stay proactive on ipm and not reactive by doing revolving, weekly applications.
My schedule for January is posted in picture form, but I will write it out for those needing better guidance:

Getting weird brown growth at the base of the leaves on new growth... anyone know what this is and how to treat?
I may add I have no signs of any pests , bugs or anything. This is a full organic grow therefore I did hit it with essential oils as a pest prevent a week ago.
Came to the realization that I’m overwatering these massive pots thus why I’m seeing the curling and struggling plants.
On a positive note by end of week 7 I did see a big turn around and also was able to diagnose and in the process of treating fungus gnats.
I came to the conclusion that my issues all stem from the fact that I was doing two things wrong with my watering:
1. Too much (duh)
2. Too fast! I was using a watering can and it is talked about time and time again to use a hand sprayer to ensure even distribution and slow release.
It is very challenging with a no till method because I’m impatient and I need to remember that I’m nurturing the living soil, not the plant and this method is far different from my outdoor and hydroponic experience.
This weeks schedule looked like this:

Week 9 has been very uneventful because I've been severely limiting my watering to get my living soil moisture level back on track.

The crazy part of living soil is sometimes less is more... This week has proven this theory as things are starting to really shape up.
Every day sees vast improvement, fungus gnats are at all time low numbers and the plants are doing great. I have again been restricting the watering, but re-integrated an pest management program that i'm starting to feel comfortable with (not burning plants, efficacy, etc).
Week looked like this:
1/10 - 1/12: Nothing
1/13: Neem foliar spray with bronners peppermint soap at lights out
1/14: Neem soil drench with 3/4 gallon water per pot
1/15: Cleaned out tent; sanitized, wiped and vacuumed
1/16: Nothing
This week saw alot of action with clones being taken from all three plants and lights being switched over to flower at 12/12. The plants have not yet looked this good and i'm starting to see why no-till is the way to go. The plants are incredibly happy and require minimal attention. That being said, with a bit of love on organic pest management, they are really starting to flourish big time.
The week looked like this:
1/17: Water with essential oils (3 drops ea/gal: rosemary, ginger and thyme) - 1 gal per pot
1/18: Nothing
1/19: Nothing
1/20: Compost Tea spray (compost, build a soil craft blend and black molasses bubbled for 48 hours) at lights out
1/21: Neem with essential oils (clove, eucalyptus and lemongrass - 2 drops ea) foliar spray at lights out
1/22: Nothing
1/23: Nothing
The plants are going nuts with my new pest management program and continuation of feeding the soil. The compost tea application seems to be extremely effective and will be something i continue to do until about a month before harvest.
This week I began adding some more amendments to my living soil, mainly again for pest management and specifically promoting microbial growth that hinders powdered mildew and other pests down the road.
This week looked like this:
1/24: Nothing
1/25: 1 gal water and 1 tablespoon coconut powder per pot
1/26: Nothing
1/27: Top dress of 1/4 cup/plant of kelp meal, neem meal and crab meal. 1 gal of water per pot
1/28: Neem meal and kelp meal bubbled for 24 and 48 hours and applied foliar at lights out
1/29: Nothing
1/30: Defoliate
Week was great as I saw the end to my fungus gnats and the plants really began to develop their own signature smells.
The monster plant has more myrcene funky smell to it and the smaller bushy plants are hitting hard with fruity earth tones.
This week looked like this:
2/7: nothing
2/8: 1 gal water/pot with 1 tbsp coconut water powder/pot and 1 drop of microbe lite bmc
2/9: nothing
2/10: nothing
2/11: 1 gal water/pot with 1 tbsp aloe flakes/pot. and 1 drop microbe lite bmc. Top dressed with gnarley barley which is sprouted hemp seed, Barley seed and corn seed which i pulverized
2/12: nothing
2/13: .5 gal water/pot and light defoliation
The week looked as such:
Nothing until Wednesday: 1 gal each pot water with gnarley barley ground and bubbled for 24 hours.
Topped each pot w ground gnarly barley, build a soil special blend, kashi and neem meal.
Straight forward week:
Watered once with coconut powder (2 gal water and 2 tbsp coconut powder). Only 1 gal water per plant spritzed on top.
No foliage sprAys and minimal additions to soil.
Week was fine, realized I was slightly under watering due to the plants drooping a little so I’m still wrapping my head around the balance of too much and not enough water.
Week looked like this;
Fri through Monday: Nothing
Tuesday: root drench w kelp meal, sprout mix (corn, hemp and malted barley ). 2 gal per plant aerated with approx 1 cup sprout mix pulverized and 4 tbsp of kelp meal
Thursday: 1 gal water and 1 tbsp coconut powder per plant
Watered 3x this week as they are slurping hard...
Saturday: kelp and gnarley barley enzyme tea root French, 2 gallons per pot of water, 24 hour bubble with roughly 1/4 c ea gb and kelp meAl
Monday: aloe powder flakes and 1 gal per pot of h2o
Thursday: 1 gal h2o and coconut powder
Still seeing ebbs and flows of fungus gnats but they are seemingly under control and I’m not having many other issues to speak of which is nothing but a godsend.
The living soil seems to be killing it as far as nutrients goes, plants are extremely healthy and the ecosystem is doing very very well.
Roughly 2 weeks til harvest
