Laughing Buddha, Wild Berry, Tatanka

These are close to 2 weeks in, but are 1 week into veg. Sativa dominant Laughing Buddha from barneys farm, Indica dominant wild berry from bc bud depot, and cbd strain of tatanka from royal queen. These were on just water until today. They were showing a little twisting, but that got remedied with their first feeding with 2ml grow a and b, and 5ml of calmag.

Everything's looking good. One of the LB got caught under another plant, and looks a little disfigured, but it'll come back to normal shape. Got rid of the twisting with calmag. Theyre still good in the cups for another week or 2 as I'm not even watering more than once a week. Were fed 5mg calmag, and 2ml a and b last watering.

Doing well. A little droopy looking, as they were just watered. Topped a few days ago to get that bushing started. All of these are new to new, can't wait to try em out.

Doing well here. Side branches are filling out. Going to put them in half gallon buckets which should be adequate for 3-4 more weeks. I keep being told I need bigger buckets, I like my way better. I posted a pic of some breeding candidates that are full, bushy, and green STILL in .5 gallon buckets. No wires or crazy shit, but branched out. I don't care about nutes, but I ran out of the advanced I was using and got a botanicare brand that is one part. I never understood mixing 50 things every feeding. One dose.. done.

On autolilot. In half gal pots now, and a little bending every few days to begin widening them. Sidebranching and node spacing is pretty good on all of these. Its going to be hard to select keepers on these. The light might be a little to much for them now that they're alone in there, but they'll grow into it within a week or 2.

Nothing to really note this week. They'll need fed soon, maybe tomorrow. Topped them a few days ago, and the side branches are starting to pop out. I love coco bc its so easy and maintenance free, but it soooo slowwwwwww. Dint even get me started on soil.. Hurry up already!

I thought I took more pictures, but I guess not. I feel like I should have paid more attention to these in the last couple weeks. Holidays have been hectic. The side branches from fiming are starting to come in. Slower than I'd like to see. It's on all of them, and I'm sure it's my fault. They all got a pm spray tonight just before lights out, and a bit heavier feeding than the last couple.

A little behind on posting for these. Theyre all doing ok. I think I gave them a bit to much light for a while. I thought it was mag or nitrogen, but then realized the fading was prob to much light. Since I turned it down, they have started greening back up. Going to up the pot size soon, take clones, and put em in flower. I won't have room for them for about another 3 or 4 weeks, so I don't want them to get to big to fast.

Tossed these under the flowering lights as you can see by the ugly orange yellow color. Theyre doing ok. No major problems, other than cooler Temps hindering the rate of growth a little. Thats been an issue with everything the past month or so. Pulled some nice clones off each of them, so a couple main colas are missing from each on too. Some people like using the little under branches, I like using thick healthy branches that take off right away.

Well, haven't been paying much attention to these. After all theyre just testers. The tatanka will have a main cola from each clipped off next week, and tested, the other 2 strains a couple weeks after, as well as an effect/taste test. All of them are cloned, so I can keep any winners for bulk production. So far the tatanka has had typical Indica traits, mediocre size. Id guess just under the yeild of a median yielding strain. Like 400gm2 as a breeder would label it. Same for the wildberry. Its very slow growing, which isn't a trait I like. Unless its a significant taste, effect, and potency, I'll prob not continue with these. The laughing buddha looks to be an average producer, a little more than the other 2, and bud structure looks tighter for a sativa dominant strain. Between the 2 phenis kept, they look very simular, though one is growing a little healthier than the other. Will be back when the tatanka results come in to see if they match the breeders numbers, then the results of the others.

So. Im not really happy with the tatanka or the wild berry. The buddha is mediocre so far, but some of that might be my fault. However, the other 2 grew like dwarves even as clones. I didn't bother testing the tatanka as I won't be continuing with it. In the last pic, look at the growth rate between cbd seeds I paid 1.50 ea. for vs around 10 ea for. The 2 closest to the camera on the left are the tatanka clones, and all 6 on the right are clones all the same age, taken the same size, same cloner, same nutes, same everything except light from almost a week ago. These are definitely not a plant for yeild. Especially being vegged in rdwc.

Theyre looking ready. Going to chop them down tomorrow am, and hang them up to dry. One of the tatankas turned a nice purple shade, as well as one of the wildberry, thk it was only leaf in that one, not the actual buds. Been getting just ro water the past 2-3 weeks, so they should be pretty cleaned out. Wasn't very excited about the outcome of any of these, but .aybe the effects will make up for it.
