Ok so it’s been a while but I’m back! So this time around a lot of things ha e changed and I’m running all new equipment so hang on this may be a bumpy ride!! Quick run down...

Watering system: the bucket company 6 buckets 3gal each self watering and self draining!!! I’m using coco and perlite.
Strains: 3 giscotti by @elev8seeds and 3 kosher sorbet by @dnagenetics
This is week one I transplanted them and fed them Diablo 3 part.. this is a tricky one for me I’m dealing with high temps and plants seem to be fine one day and not so fine the other... but they are growing, the kosher sorbet seems to be doing the best so far. Giscotti not to well.. 😞 but It’s only been a few days since they been transplanted so I’m hoping they are just in shock.. this kind led X² is really powerful! And fully customizable! I mean with the gorilla controller I can change the diodes as well the watts!! Crazy I’m still learning so any advice would be really helpful and appreciated!! Right now I got the light set too 500w and the diodes set to 10b 10w 8r
I have the light set high because I found setting it lower got way too hot! But once again any help I wouldn’t mind!! Till next week
What a week! The battle has begun! Lol so the giscotti have been experiencing magnesium deficiency, while the kosher sorbet is doing great! So I’ve adjusted the calmag and been spraying with optic foliar every other day! Seems like I got them on track looking healthier than they did before! I also been messing with the kind Led X² settings. I been dimming the wattage as well as I turned the red diodes down as well. I found since I’ve done that temps are at a good level and the plants definitely like it more! I also dropped the light down a few inches and things seem to be taking off! Thanks for following! Ok so maybe I didn’t fix anything 😞 I still got red stem and stock on my giscotti.. the kosher sorbet seems to be doing great!! I’m debating on flipping them next week I may veg them out a little more. I’m getting really nervous with the 3 giscotti the red stems and yellowing on the lower leaves. Maybe tomorrow I might have to flush them and correct ph as well as correct the cal mag. Hopefully next week will be a better post!
I got red/purple stems and stock as well as lower leaves like a faded yellow... I think it’s a mag deficiency and wondering how to correct it?? And if it is it even what I think it is?? Any help plz?? I have pics below and can take more if needed
Well, not that i am an expert, but i have seen this a few times.
Most likely they are getting too much light/intensity.
Try take a look on some of the hidden (covered ) stems and see if they are still green. If so, you have to raise your lights.
Another reason could simply be the genetics or early signs of a phosphorous deficiency.
PH can also play a part, as nute lock-outs can cause this reaction too.
A few other things can cause it too, so in order to help more appropiate, we need more info on stuff like, PH / Ec or PPM, temps at night and such.
Are they stunted in growth too or do they keep growing.?
Do you measure run-off.?
My kosher sorbet seems to be just loving everything i through at it!! (Which is good) my giscotti on the other hand need a good amount of cal mag. Ever since I upped the cal mag they have been growing better... with the good Growth this week and signs of good health, I will be flipping (blooming) these ladies Friday! 24 hr of darkness and sat lights on 12/12!! So bad news, I got thrips!! I’m fighting them as best as I can. I’m hoping to win the battle! But the plants are still showing good growth.. it’s been 3 days now I been fighting them so it’s to early to tell! The garbage thing is on week 2 of flower! I don’t want to be spraying anything on them in week 3 max beginning week 4. If by than they are still around, I’ll be chopping them down and starting over. Any help with this would be great!!
Ok looks like I got thrips!!! Been using bug be gone and some harvest miracle, I put up yellow sticky traps but just found out thrips like blue.. 😞 any advice would be appreciated!! I’m in 2nd week of flower and I got bud sites so I’m a little worried I may have to cut them down
https://www.koppert.ca/pests-and-diseases/pest-control/ Check with your local grow store if you have one.. Possibly local green houses might have access as well.
predators are the most effective and safe way to rid your garden of unwanted pests.. They can be a bit expensive and used a bit more for larger growers.. But if your infestation is bad enough it might be worth a consideration.
what a week!! been battling with thrips 🤬🤬but i think i got it under control now!! plants though are happy and always happy! this kind led X² is a insane light, powerful as heck! buds coming in nice i think this will go over the 8 week flower for sure... bud sites still small and need to fill in so i’ll be watching for bud growth in the next week or so! thank you for following.
So I’ve managed to get the thrips down!! Almost gone!!! But other than that things looking good in here!! The only thing I’m nervous about is that maybe these thrips might have slowed the bud growth?? Buds a little small but I got 4-5 weeks to go so fingers crossed buds Start to beef up!
Sorry I lacked on this one but thrips hit and I got depressed lol but all in all second run was AMAZING I WISH I POSTED HERE!! But I got some others coming up in with the X²
