Haven’t started nutrients yet..Going to try the Canadian brand Mantis. I’ve been looking for an all in one nutrient and I came across it. Tired of products all arriving with messed up expirations dates, all the measuring too..Wondering if I’m giving enough of one or too much of the other.. So soon as it arrives I will start feeding her.. For now she is ok with what’s in the soil now..

Well after almost killing her with nutrients burn like an idiot.. I said I wasn’t gonna give her nutrients till the Mantis came in but! I did anyway.. So 3 weeks later she is finally showing signs of life and coming back to health.. Gave her the first 5ml of Mantis yesterday and she perked right up. That little one in the back is C99 I planted 2 weeks ago just to have something else growing while the Red D healed up.. I’ll start dairy on that one later..Both have around the same flowering time so I figured I could grow them together.. Lighting sucks but nothing really to see just yet anyway..

Who ever said nutrient burn is irreversible was wrong. This is actually a little over week 7 For the Red Diesel but I can’t fix that in the dairy. As close to death as she was she lived. The day I woke and saw the damage I immediately rinsed soil two or three times. Trimmed off leaves that were too burnt. Turned fans on high and sealed tent till she dried out. Then I Sledgehammered her for two days. Then straight water again for a few days. Then when the leaves started showing signs of life half Mantis 2.5ml for a couple days, then the full 5ml. Now she is I wouldn’t say 100% yet. But she ain’t dead either. The little C99 is a little over 3 weeks. Wondering if I should top/fim it now or is it to early? Any input?

They are both growing beautifully. Nutrient burn all gone completely. Been using the new Mantis and I love it, all in one. 5ml per liter just makes feeding simple from one bottle.. They say use this till harvest and no flush required either. Absolutely nothing else is required except Mantis, but I will add a little Bembe during flower for some extra flavor. But I’m very happy with the way they look.

Seems I was letting the temp get to low during the night.. I noticed some slow growth did some investigating and that was it. During the day 86/87 and at night it was hitting like 60 and 50’s.. So I’m hoping that was my issue.. But other then that they look beautiful and healthy.. Nutrient burned Red D is 100% now and growing.. I defoliated both of them yesterday, mostly cleaned the Red D’s branches. Just want all her energy going up not out.. But the slow growth sucks hoping it changes now..

Well I was in the emergency room for the last 4 days getting over this new world order created virus.. Sick as a dog feeling like death worried about my girls at home drying up and dying.. Had to make the emergency call boys and girls ..Called the only one I knew that respects and loves plants. The one who taught me. The only one I knew that wouldn’t let life die even though it’s Herbs.. I called mom 😝. Yep! a few funny words aside she still went over and watered them for me.. So when I got home 4 days later this is what I came home too.. I also switched to 12/12 yesterday

Well they are healthy thank god. Both leafs are aiming up tips too and beautiful green. Just pull a few leafs off here and there.. Nothing to upset them just for light purposes. Tossed the scrog on to help pull stuff apart get some light to those lowers for the heck of it. Both sucking down water.. I give them 1.5L each everyday. Nothing but this Mantis still. Going to toss in that Bembe every two weeks though, when I see some flowers. Not for Anything other then what it does for the flower. Cause the Mantis alone has been very stable and successful for growth. I have little white hairs developing in the flowering areas. ..I’ll get pics when I open tent tomorrow. Very happy with everything..

Defoliated the heck out of them for the last time.. 2 weeks into flowering, now I’ll just clip stuff here and there that interferes with light.. But that’s it they both look healthy.. Crazy happy with the Red Diesels come back from death to 18” tall so far and multiple colas. For a backup the Cinderella grew great.. Caught up to the diesel with a decent height and still growing.. Both strong plants I may try one re-veg, I’m in between that or mini field of green with Orange Creamsicle seeds I have.. The nutrient calculations are off.. I give them 5ml of mantis per liter every feeding, and 15 ml Bembe per gallon once a week now during flowering.

In the words of the great Bob Ross, Beautiful little buds just happily growing all over.. Stinking up the room lol.. Growing great! Few more weeks left for both till harvest. But fu$k if they don’t smell great.. Looks like a trichome fairy dropped a deuce all over them.. Temps normal 80/82f during the day but I’m dropping it at night now between 60/65f.

Buds are starting to widen up, Looking nice and dense. Overall both look great.. Leaf tips started to burn a tiny bit so I backed light up couple inches. The C99 has about two weeks left. Everywhere I read it was 7 weeks to flower..Red Diesel still has like 3 to 4, I read around 9 weeks for that.. I’ll jus keep eye on tricomes.. But thank God everything is good ..

Grow Questions

JoeyGonzstarted grow question 4 years ago
She looks done to me. Trichomes are white pistols orange.. She is at 54 days., consensus is 66 days or so... I know it’s a hybrid but I’d rather the sativa side before the indica kicks in.. Should I harvest or will this things produce more white before orange? Its bursting now

Not likely after 7 or 8 weeks of flower on a 50/50 hybrid. You probably have at least 2 weeks left. Get a jeweler's loupe for like 8 bucks or a wifi microscope for like 40 bucks and find out for sure.

Harvesting her on the 2nd.. She is looking great.. She is just getting water now.. Nice moist soil very low humidity like 29% during the day 40 night. Split the stem today last big ditch stress effort, Handling it pretty well.. Her not me 😂 I always cringe.

So happy I waited the extra time.. Went away for the weekend came back today and the tips shot up..They got little fatter and definitely more trichomes. Looking like Thursday for harvest. She isn’t 23 inches she is about 19” high. I definitely think I’ll still get over 2z’s close to 3.. All natural Mantis is no fu$kin joke.. I can just imagine when I get a bigger grow space and I can train them taller!

Very happy with the outcome. I don’t know, she smells exactly like fruity pebbles cereal to me. Super sticky and smokes clean... I was hoping for two oz so 3.37 minus little stems tad more moisture say 3oz is good to me. I got a new Infinity 2’x4’x5’ grow space and Seedman seeds arrived, so shooting for a few more plants in the near future 😁 happy growing all
