I got my seeds on 10/31 and quickly put them in a glass of water. Left them overnight in a cupboard and poured them on a paper towel. Another night and they came out of their shell. I dropped them on the soil on 11/2 with a little bit of dynomico in each hole and watered a bit. On 11/5 all three were out of the soil
Everything went smoothly. Just have a little bit of water around the root every other day or so. Gradually giving more as it grew and the soil dried out.
I was so excited to see some weed leaves pop out. Everyday the plants got noticeably bigger. I’m making sure their environment stays as consistant as possible. I did encounter my first issue. I went to refill my humidifier turns out the water had turned green. I emptied the tank into a glass you can see in the pics. Washed it and ill make sure to do so more frequently. I’m guessing it was stagnant for too long and algae grew? Has this happened to anyone? What cause it?
I added a second light yesterday. I’m not sure if it’s overkill and if it’ll work well with the other one. They are both VIVOSUN 300w LEDs, the one I already had has a veg and bloom switch, but the new one doesn’t. But hey it was cheap on Black Friday for $63. But having the new one in there quickly increased the heat in there from 75 to 85. I’m waiting for an oscillating fan to throw in there also which will help. Any advice on the light situation? More light spectrum the better?
Update: did my first LsT on all three girls on 12/1. Within 3 hours all the leaves were facing the lights again I was impressed
Just noticed a pollen sack on one of my plants!! Not sure whether I should keep it in the tent or not.... I have three plants and only one had them. It is the one that has been showing the most stress this week. Adding a second light increased the temp to 91 at times and the tallest fastest plant had the tip of the leaves start to curl, indicating heat stress. I also took a couple of fan leaves off of each plant a few days ago, maybe it didn’t like it? Any recommendations on keeping the plant in or not?
Update: I took the hermie out the next day when I saw a couple more pollen sacks.
