Growing it

I really liked growing this strain, the smell after they flowered was amazing. Both plants that I grew were really easy, really sticky, though the yield was not brilliant.
GROW:
I had no problems throughout, both plants stayed lush green, no deficiencies, pests or diseases. They stretched briefly between the 3rd and 4th week as they transitioned into flower, but stayed stocky and fairly short overall. Everything about them was fast, from flowering in week 3 to harvest in week 8. Definitely something I'd recommend to a beginner, but I would suggest getting good grow/bloom nutrients as it seems quite hungry.
BUDS:
Lemon Pie is a great smelling strain, like sweet lemons soaked in gasoline and black pepper. The yield was nothing groundbreaking, but the buds are really nice. One plant was denser than the other, and some of the buds are a little small, borderline popcorn when they dried. The main colas were quite stacked and where the vast majority of the weight came from in both plants (about 70% of my final weight in both cases). I would like to grow them again, just for the scent alone. I could see myself keeping a pack of these seeds around just to toss one in a pot when I have a spare space in my grow.
Overall 9/10 just for the buds, despite the below average yield. Quality over quantity for this strain in my opinion.

Welcome back to the conclusion of the Lemons! Day 56 from seed on the dot and these two girls came down, which is crazy fast! I had originally planned to let these girls run for another week, but the stem snapping on LP#2 put an end to that as she wasn't recovering well by the next day and I thought better to harvest now. The trichomes are in a good spot anyway, so I don't feel like I've lost out at all. The wet weight is good, but massively inflated due to the stems, so I expect to lose at least 75% of that, but I still think these girls yielded reasonably well.
I like to dry in 2 stages in order to slow down that initial dry as the humidity is naturally quite low here. By leaving the stems and most of the leaves until Stage 2 I can control my dry time a little better. I leave the buds on the stems until they go into jars. There's no hard rule to how long I leave between stage 1 and 2, it depends entirely on how a particular dry is going and I judge it as it goes.
Dry took 6 days total, trimmed large leaves at day 3, the rest at day 6.
you like the weed dryer? or is that a laundry bag!?
@MrHightimes, ha, yeah it's a proper drying rack for "herbs" apparently. It's okay, it flattens the buds a bit where they're laying on their sides but tbh it's convenient. I dry in my kitchen because it has the best environment, but the only place to hang it is bang in the middle of the room, so I can't really dangle a load of branches individually cos I'm bound to just knock them down :joy: I do have a laundry bag that's pretty much exactly the same though now I think about it... could've saved some money there lol.

Absolutely love the photography and video work....BEAUTIFUL!
@Tweezer, agree, I'm gona label future grow pics by day like that too, VERY helpful
Just put my seed in a jar of water along with pink lemonade and purple something or other. Can’t wait, I grow hempy style so should be interesting.
Love your vids at the end bro
Congratulations on getting into the prize 10, don't stop! :+1: :fire:
