My next BBW to love, which hopefully will grow big and fat just like I love them... but probably I should start talking of my germinated OG Kush and forgot women for a bit.
Lol!
That's a 100% germination rate. Is my 2nd 420FastBuds Diary, that makes a 100% on a total of 8 seeds of different strains, very good! These 3 seeds of OG Kush were germinated in jiffy, as I always do, and used plain tap water with no nutes or boost in it. It took a total of 5 days inside my basic germination dome. The only challenge was to maintain a comfy warm temperature inside, but all went good. I let them stretched a little too much before put them under the light.
I like this new germination week, very useful the new info you can place in it.
First week, all good!
Jiffy had been placed inside tiny coco choir pots, around 125ml more or less, filled with Biobizz Light Mix soil, my chosen medium. I'll simply place them inside a bigger pot, the final one was my plan, but I may have to wait and place them inside 5L air pot pots before I'm able to transfer them in the true grow box and in the final 11L fabric pots.
I called it Matrioska repot!
This space is nothing more that my old grow tent, made drying tent, now used as a germination tent. Recycle saves the planet! And the wallet.
The light used is weak, that made the seedlings stretch a bit too much. I want to point out: that is a 10 year old 200W Phytolite CFL. It makes you really appreaciate how technology improved in just one decade. Even if now is less than ideal, I'll never throw this lamp away: it saved my ss several times.
I've already started to give her the first week nutes, even if the Biobizz feeding chart suggest to wait. Don't really know why I did it, I'll see what happen but so far they seems to like it. I love girls that can eat ;)
Transfered do 5L air pot pots early this week, i did not transplant them, i simply buried the coco choir pots in the bigger pots, no worries for the roots. But I hope I didn't buried them too much deep due to the germination stretching.
With the last feed I added Orca and applied LST to one of the girls, the one that would looks like is developing more sativa traits. For sure I don't have the eye to tell that right away, is just taller and grew to 15cm where her twins just 10cm. Still waiting for space in the main tent.
I've transplanted one of them, bit it looked a bit soon so I'll wait more for the others. Moved under my TS1000 which they loved right away. More lst applied on the branches, I'll try to keep the low in height.
More LST, i did a mistake by snapping a side branch of one of them, but recovered fast. Now is two in 11L fabric pots, one in a 5L air pot. They share space with a younger Grapefruit Auto.
I never know if flag this transition week as a veg or a flo phase, is now switching to flower and started with bloom nutes. Already too much tall! I never manage to keep them low enough xD.
The tallest forced my hand and did an HST to maintain an even canopy, all went well and it looks like I'm now an HST expert. Or very poor in keep them low enough to avoid HST lol. Rised nutes, these girls eat a lot!
Rised nutes again, they truly eat a lot, and what development! The tallest is clearly more sativa, with a ton of bud sites, she took the HST wonderfully.
They're now fattening up nicely. I love their smell, i don't think to have ever try the og kush now im even more curious. One is clearly sativa dominant.
Last feed given. Maybe I should have start flushing, but every time I do that too early, this time I've waited, I presume still a couple of weeks left, maybe less, I'm not looking for too much amber this time, maybe 10% tops.
Almost there. Maybe I should keep on the nutes, it looks like they could use some more time, especially the little 5l pot and the tallest 11l pot. The other 11l pot will be the first to fall, she have an amazing pink colour.
Wow, I didn't think the tallest had to fatten up this much yet, so this is why is taking so much time to ripe. The pink one on the other hand is almost done, nice!
Ops, I forgot to take pictures yesterday, which was the last day of the week. Today, first day of week 13, the pink one is been harvested. I'll update everything next week. The other two will need dome more day.
