This is my first diary, 2nd time grow, bear with me. Trying to change avatar to my cat, it won't let me. So excited to be here learning and sharing, any advise is welcome and I'm trying to get to all the diaries I can....so much to learn. My first grow produced 4.5 Oz,trying to do better than that this time around. Come on and enjoy the show!!!!
The second time around she's growing faster it seems, still chilling twice a day. Started LST and some more purposeful defoilation to expose new growthe sites. Loving this site! Happy growing ppl😍🌱
She's recovered beautifully from the defoil, didn't miss a beat, ramping up nutes a bit she's a hungry girl. Added another 2in airstairstone in addition to AIT spider and she's loving it. Lst going nicely, she's getting woody on me so just trying to keep her spread open so all the light can get into the middle. Starting fastbud seeds rn that seem to be giving me some trouble, more to come on that later. I will also post some root pix and close ups of pistols later in the week. This girls going even faster than my first round, these SWEET SEEDS sativas do not disappoint!!
After adding an air stone the spider I already had, the root growth is impressive, recently started stretching side branches alot. This one seems much more hungry than the last sweet seed. Don't wanna up ppm to quickly. Great response to liquid kool bloom. She ate 250 ppm not one day, struggling with droopy leaves a little, but only sometimes, perks up speradically and after water or feed.flowers rapidly forming, loving this grow! 😍
OK I was fine with missing week six originally, it was a busy week and was just going to leave it be. I found out to be considered for diary of the month all weeks must be present. So here is the week six. Also included were pix of first harvest that was almost finished when I found this site. Anyways, this makes it complete and ty for making my first diary here memorable. This week her smell came in!! Drinking almost a gallon a day now. She's a hungry girl too. Several tops are inches long connected buds. She might yield pretty well. Loved her defoil, more defined colas with a fairly even canopy. Was a good move to do extra air, the roots are happy. Moving right along in this grow!
This girl really fattened up this week! Took the rest off her fan leaves of make room. Sturdy stems no need for help yet, just a little separation of some of her colas. This girl seems to be starving, maybe as gain some experience, I'll be more comfortable with bigger feedings. Want to keep same momentum a while longer before we begin to flush. All advise welcome. Will continue flush for at least a week, probably 2, down to zero ppm later in week, she smells so sweetc and dank, very resinous close ups next update. Thanks for stopping by and happy growing🌱
Harvesting now, but didn't put harvest week since I don't have weight or smoke report yet, what can I say but wow, growing her was great, she's super dank and sweet smelling, very resinous, and covered in trichs glistening all over. My first diary was great, thank you to all those who gave advise, I definitely learned a lot. Hoping for 6oz dry with the harvest, let's see how close I get!! Back in ten days or so with final smoke report and weight, happy growing everyone😍🌱
This was an unknown auto flower from SWEET seeds, and sweet she was! I believe this to be an Indice strain. She's very sweet, fairly frosty, and resinous.
This was my second harvest. She was pretty easy to grow, very hungry. Leaves suffered a little the last couple weeks, so goals for next time. It's an all around great plant. Smooth sweet smoke, that's great for nausea. I was hoping for 6oz dry this time, and feel I could have done better in some areas to increase yields. Overall quality is very strong smoke, and fairly dense buds. Had a great 1st diary😍🌱
@EveryGrow, they are both sweet seeds from an assorted auto pack, I almost killed her in the beginning so well see what the baby does now. Still learning but leaps and bounds better this second time around.
Hi mate I use the a.I.t spider I use a toothbrush and then get a needle and poke holes all the way threw. Listen I don't worry about the rez temps to much . I know if I keep my room temp at 24-25 and never had a problem I learnt a long time ago from a master DWC grower that the more oxygen (very small bubbles) your getting to those roots the better I use 1 double tube Ait spider and 2 50m golf ball air stones in each pot. I use 2 120ltr a minute hailia premium air pumps and I grow 10 at a time and I haven't checked my rez temps for a long time. Just keep YOUR room temperature at 24-25 and you will be sweet.
@SmerkeyDWC14, Hi mate thnx for the info.. I am trying to change from soil to hydro ..I have 16 pot of 21L and a tank of 350L ... i will use maybe canna aqua or something its just : when i used to feed my plants in soils it was like MAX 4ml per litre of boost .. so i was feeding around 1 litre (water+nutrients) per 20l soil pot .., here is is where i dont understand how to use hydroo... now i have to be able to feed 16 pot x 21L ( the 18 litre will have to fill with water+nutt) so i will need lets say 4mlx350L(that is my tank )= 1400ml of BOOST? And how often i have to change the water(if it is evry week its gg i will need arround 8400ml of boost in 6 weeks of flowe(this is insane)? ...The nuttrients will be lost yes?..if u can help me out please with a small tip ,..

@SmerkeyDWC14, great tip, such a simple fix, why didn't I think of that lol, it makes a world of difference. The silicate gums it up faster I think, but I'm sure all the extra oxygen will be worth the extra effort👌
@Enviros007, not as much as you'd think, I can fit about 2 gallons in the 3.5 gal bucket....she drinks 1-1.5 gallons a day so it does become a routine of frequent watering.....totally worth it. Thank you but idk about a 5 gallon Cuz it would have to be quite a bit closer to my light and not sure if that is a good thing....would allow her to get even bigger tho....it is Orth some thought
Looking good kitty if was you id use the f.I.m method and then she will become a monster. I fim all of my girl only the once it will up your yield alot. Dwc is by far the best and fastest way to grow your meds. Also throw a couple more air stones in those pots or your going to get dead spots once you have a bigger root ball. The more bubbles the better more bubbles more bud. Hit me up if you need any help. Peace out 😎
@SmerkeyDWC14, ty for the helpful words. I have a spider in it for air rn. Was wondering if I needed more air, I don't like the design, the holes gum up after a bit. My biggest problem is cooling the water, I'm icing twice a day to keep it 21C, cannot buy cooler rn. I did FIM last week, that's when she popped out all the side arms. Should I try again? I also use purposeful defoilation to expose new growth sites. Started lst yesterday. I did have issues maintaining the massive roots that came with my big girls tho, all advise appreciated thanks😎
Also I only fim once and it seems to me that the ones I think I should do again turn out the best. Remember its an auto. So just leave it. I reckon it will surprise you💰
Having that droopy leaf issue with a white k.c I'm running the leaves only stand after feed or watering I'm not sure if I should feed it more than the other plants or what
