Well I had some room a week ago when I soaked these beans but then now I am kind of regretting it as room will be an issue soon. These 3 girls will have the room to themselves in 4 weeks hopefully. I can manage that.
Otherwise I couldn't be more excited to run one of my favorite strains...I am a tangie fiend!!!
50/50 ffof/perlite mix with 50cc's of water per day after germination for the first week.
Anyways 3 of 4 germed as I sowed in soil to avoid any shock from dropping seeds on their ass in soil. Voodoo and ph'd water this week.
One of the girls grew out a little mutated so I decided to top her for an experiment. I grow for personal use so not worried about yield as I am about learning.
Beginning with HPS has shown that side branching will be better as they have started much earlier.
Introduced b-52 a week earlier than the last run and they seem ok.
I think I found a lost seed...growing in my bathroom
So my tablet decided to drop on one of the girls and who knows how long she was being crushed so I decided to fhim her and she if she pulled through. She is doing fine and so are the other two. They are sucking down about 100ml per day of the above feeding. Loving it and boy these are going to smell nice!!!
Just starting week 4 and these girls have loved what I have learned from the first indoor grow. The topped and fim'd girl have respond very well...I'm thinking done early enough it doesn't look like it will stunt anything.
These girls smell amazing already!!!
The topped girl screamed to be tied down this week to open her up an even her out.
Had to back off the B-52 as I noticed some slight claw on the natural girl after taking these pics and same with the one I topped a day later (I'm thinking it might be the FFOF soil being a little too Nitrogen rich). Week 4 is coming to a close this weekend and the girls are looking good otherwise. Nice even canopy on the topped plant. Can't wait to post a new week soon.
Backing off the nutes for a few days and only ph'D water with some voodoo juice. Thinking the soil is to hot for these as both runs have seen some early stages of clawing about the same time frame in their grows.
Anyways all the girls are the same height as last week...kind of, they were tied down last week and I got the canopy even on all 3 girls. If they stood up straight they would be almost a foot tall now.
My ppm is not 1, just wanted a smile face on my post...haha.
The fim'D girl has done so well she got some food today. 200ml of a mix of 1ml per liter micro/bloom & big bud. I left out the grow to minimize nitrogen as the other girls have shown not to like it.
Start of week 6, ended week 5 with a few only water feeds on the topped and natural girl as they showed some claw. New growth looks good and the HST girls are in their stretch...not much stretch with natural.
Hopefully the stretch and node spacing continue as is and they continue to grow through this week. It is much better than my first run.
Hope you all enjoy the photos and video and please chime in, like the grow or give me a follow. I am a sponge for information. One thing I have noticed is that all 3 girls droop hard at night, sometimes as early as 3hrs before dark...growth has seemed fine. Maybe they are tired from their daily stretch who knows.
Hey yall starting week 7 now. Unfortunately we had to remove a girl from the tent and are down to 2 tangie...ol'topper and the FHM supermodel😉. She stopped drinking and slowly went down hill last week. Checked the ph (all ok), looked for bugs and none to be found. She just seemed to quit on me and shriveled up and died.
Anyways the 2 remaining girls are doing well and moving right along and now to the last half of their short little lives.
Defoliating the bottom half to remove any buds sites that wouldn't produce.
Starting week 8 today and having to back off the nutes as they are showing more signs of burn...finicky little girls now.
Anyways the swell is starting to show and I hope I can finish these girls out strong.
Well no good news this week everyone, left on a week long trip and left the roommate extensive notes on how to ph water and add nutes...came home to a nightmare of yellowing leaves and after talking to the roommate I can safely determine a nutrient lockout as she watered with plain tap water and exact nutrients needed but forgot to ph the water I sit out to evaporate chlorine and such.
I flushed the girls with ph'd water and on the last dose of water fed her some nutrients. So far we are in wait and see mode and while they haven't died in the 3 days since I returned they were immensely affected during a typical swell week.
Lesson learned is...if you leave for an extended period of time pre mix you water/fed so the dummies don't duck it up.
Everything was going well until I left for vacation. Due to my error in trusting my roommate I ended up with fluffy buds that smell awesome. Got almost 3oz of the one girl who made it.
