Aside from discoloration of leaves it looks like things are on the up and up? Fed nutrients off graph posted from a previous post for this continued week. Iโ€™d like to hear of some recommendations for flowering stage- any other nutrients late into this I could get for a larger harvest would be great, I will harvest first week of Jan from what It seems. Subtle smell starting W/growth- Helps with my sneakers in the closet๐Ÿ˜‚. Also hands get a lemon Apple pork marinade smell if you touch branches. From Input on posts, Iโ€™ve started to remove dead veg, I only took ones that were starting to crust and were at least 50% brown. Aside from weekly feeding when I refill the 5G bucket, I add it halfway w/water thatโ€™s mixed w/ tbs of cal mag and hydroguard then level out the ph level to 5.5-6.5. Been having issues getting the plant out of the bucket, and wonโ€™t remove it. The bottom 3 inches literally are interwoven and are clean tight white roots. The roots have fully consumed the circular air stone and the base structure of the watering filter system making it unable to pull out/rinse/clean. I also donโ€™t want to disrupt the growth by cleaning it out. Actually, not a lot of build up.This week I poured out all water and refilled with clean water n nutrients.

That is a nitrogen deficiency and perfectly normal for this stage of flowering. Itโ€™s better for the plant to go without nitrogen from now until harvest to improve the quality of the smoke. Looks great!

Happen to have an idea when the harvest for this plant could be? Advice on certain harvest nutrients for this strain? Thanks!

Hey mate! Iโ€˜d say itโ€™s 2-4 weeks from harvest. There are no brown hair in the flowers and there will be some more filling up. Personally Iโ€˜d say wait for brown hair to appear on the flowers and check the trichomes from then on. If you have some amber trichomes (some, not all!!!) they are ready. Checking the trichomes with a microscope or if your phone camera has good quality you can use the zoom function. Good look! Lookinโ€˜ good!

Checking back! Seems like my plant is coming to harvest- Sunday I did a flush and have just been adding PHโ€™d water since then. Any input on the harvest time, extending flowering for a couple more weeks, 48hr dark period, splitting the trunk, curing etc would be great. Thanks all!

Dark periods is anecdotal and has not been proven in any way shape or form. What you can do to increase oils, cannabinoids and terpenes concentrations by up to 50%, is giving her a controlled drought period during flower. You can also use Uv-B during flower to increase these concentrations even further. https://journals.ashs.org/hortsci/view/journals/hortsci/54/5/article-p964.xml (this has been published by "american society for horticultural science") Based on the pictures i can't give you a harvest estimate because i can't get a clear view of the trichomes, but if you take a photo closer to the bud still in focus, i might be able to, just shoot me a dm if you want to add another picture to your diary and i will take a look and answer by dm. But from far away looks ready for my taste. Just like the Harbinger of harvests said, some like it before its covered in amber, im one of em, covered with white sugar is top shelf to me, brown sugar not so much, but everyone has different tastes, and different brain chemistries. Usually and this is almost guaranteed, harvesting at this point is more of a active high, harvesting later is more of a sedative high. The strain determines what do the specific cannabinoid profile targets, either more the cb1 or the cb2 receptors and their affinity at these receptors determine whether you feel it more in the body or in the mind, but the state of the thc is what determines if its active or sedative, you can have a active body high, or a sedative mind high, and vice versa. I tend to go with active, don't like to sit around all day. Now when it comes to harvest, you want to leave your buds on your stem for as long as possible, the stem being attached to the flower during the whole drying proccess will SIGNIFICANTLY improve taste. Keep in the dark, cold temperatures and good ventilation and your bud will be fresher than the prince of bel air. Now, if you want to go by anecdotal, i have this juju i can make for you, the entities will make your flower the best flower you have smoked in your life. You may not understand how this process works, but it does, everyone practicing Umbandismo can confirm, so there's not even a question about it. Just pick my answer and i will make it happen my guy, you still have to follow the indications above however, you also have to put in the work for the spell to work. Stay lit growmie, and have a nice smoke later on.

The dark periods is to replenish the terpense that evaporates during days light and help rippening and extra push after a while there just no production because plant has no energi other then stored sugar . The reason many growers do a cool light cycle towards the and of flowering. Other then this i don't do much ritual. Breaking or stabing the trunk reduce water intake focus the trunk on healing and the bud to take their energie ine the sugarleaf remaining other then this dosent do much less.. the trychome you see prior to harvest is waht you get. . If the plant seems to drink less, leafs are turning hairs are curled and curling most clear trichome have past to milky. Then there is no point letting it go longer. Harvest without turning your lamp on just normal house light... Thats about it..

looks good and ready too me dude.. Extending and going farther amber can be a personally preference thing.... I know quite a few growers and the conscious is little to no amber.. Amber is bad it's like past harvest.. And going 2-3 extra weeks doesn't equal weight it pushes more amber. In my observations Amber =harshness. Weed should be smooth and hit you like a ton of bricks.. 2-3 hits should be all it takes and it should not make you cough unless your lungs are virgin.. A little information for you. How many fruits/vegetables are harvested past their ripe stage? I often look to agriculture/gardening as a source of information vs. Cannabis growing related websites..
