so far I have only given her the rqs growtablets plus a break of plain water and given this reaction today I have also started to give her some advanced nutrients (MGB) is it just a delayed nutrient problem or should I worry?

Looks like a ph issue. Are you checking your ph before watering as ph perfect nutes really only help stabilize your ph. You still need to check the ph going in and the ph of your medium. You need to water enough that the entire planter gets saturated as well. Water to runoff. Fabric planters channel the water like a river once their full of roots, that leaves dry spots inside your planter. Dry spots, dry roots, brown spots on leaves. They can also look over watered when their under watered. Go easy on the nutes as well, less is best, only give more when they look to pale. Cheers

in your experience, what is the best and cheapest way to add calcium to nutrients? online I have read everything from crumbled eggshells to Ca / Mg supplements for athletes, so I would like an opinion from someone more experienced

The more organic methods like eggshells/gypsum/bone meal/milk/dolomite lime usually have hard mineral that take time to break apart and absorbed in the soil so while this is a good organic and natural way or low cost (additives are pretty cheap though) to add calcium it is not the most efficient! If you want to keep your grow organic then go with one of those options with lots of water in irrigations to break the minerals apart and dissolve them! If efficiency is what you're looking then Cal-Mag/Calcium additives is your answer! containing Calcium sulfate in a liquid state which is more readily available to your plants in the medium! You could try increasing your "Micro" fertilizer by about 20-30% since it contains Calcium, but be mindful of your plant since it also contains quite a bit of Nitrogen in it so toxicity may happen! If you want a sure way to treat a Calcium deficiency then you could just buy any Calcium additive online for quite cheap and use it with 1/3-1/2 recommended dosage. Hope this helps! Good luck and happy growing :)
