(Oct 10th - 24th) [2 week Germination]
Soaked the Rockwool cube for an hour in water pH'd to 5.5. Wrung out until it stopped dripping.
Gently covered top of seed hole and placed inside a starter tray with a heat mat under.
Sprouted 2 days later.
Day 5
had a few roots poping through the bottom of the cube.
Tore away excess Rockwool from the cube and replanted into a solo cup with soil
Day 14
Re-potted into a one gallon pot. Was already getting root bound in the soil cup.
(Oct 25th - Nov 1st)
Looking really sad and rough this week.
I reused my old soil and I'm suspecting it either has a nutrient or pH issue.
I've been told my local tape water has a lot of limestone. Measurements out of the tap are 8.45pH / 294ppm.
Next week I'm going to repot into the final 5gallon pot and going to use Foxfarms Frog Buddy soil with extra perlite mixed in.
(Nov 2nd - 8th)
Starting to look better this week.
Dug up a bit of soil off the top and gently around the sides to replace with some new soil.
My runoff last watering was measuring a pH of 8.33 so I was suspecting the used soil had so much limestone over the last grow built up it kept the soil pH high.
The only soil I could find temporarily was some cactus soil.
By the end of the week and making sure the pot fully dried out from the last watering it was starting to turn around and get its green back.
(Nov 9th - 15th)
Finally turning around this week and really starting to look nice and healthier compared to the prior weeks. Back to growing again and getting taller with more leaves. Very happy to see.
Day 34
Re-potted into the final sized 5gallon pot and using Foxfarms Frog Buddy soil with additional perlite mixed in. Gave them all a good watering with just pH'd water. Won't feed until next week with any nutrients.
(Nov 16th - 22nd)
Girl are looking beautiful this week! Loving the new soil and bigger pots. Definitely was an issue with the old soil and possibly over water at the beginning of week 1 but took a bit to correct everything. Either way they're look fantastic this week 😊
Feed with Nutrients, was seeing sign of calcium deficiency and also wanted to make sure the soil had lots of nutrients available for the roots to grow into. Really found the kelp makes the roots grow good, use with all my plants in the house.
Topped last week and now have 3 main branches growing. The plant is really taking off and every day Im seeing a difference in the growth. Very happy with everything and that it's all back on track growing smoothly again
(Oct 23rd - 29th)
Could not happier with how everything's going this week. Look super healthy and honestly don't have anything to complain about at all.
Trimmed off several fan leaves and cut the two lowest branches off and used them as clones.
Gave another feeding this week and my run off is up to 7.86pH @ 2900ppm going to just water at 6.2pH for the rest of the week.
Not showing any signs of any issues or burnt tips from over feeding so she seems to be liking the extra nutrients. My runoff at the end of the week was down to 2100ppm so she's definitely is hungry.
My nutrients usually measure out to 1200-1400ppm (with the baseline of my tap water at 294ppm) so I guess there still is/was lot in the soil already. I knew it was an amended blend but wasn't sure what it was at before.
(Nov 30th - Dec 6th)
Probably going to be the last week of veg and going to flip into flower next week.
Ordered a second tent, 3x3x6 and that will be my flowering tent with my spider farmer SF1000 and this 85watt light I got for $52 off Amazon and then just use my 2x2x4 as my veg tent.
My plan is get the Maxsisun PB2000 for the 3x3 and move the spider farmer SF1000 back into my 2x2 for my veg tent. The PB2000 should be a good light for a 3x3 with 3-4 plants, where light will lack will be where I have my fans.
New grow tent arrived and moved the StrawberryBanana #1 and Hash Passion in the new 3x3x6 tent and kept the StrawberryBanana #2 in the 2x2 veg tent.
(Dec 7th - 13th)
Started the first week of flowering.
First 24hrs were in total darkness and then after will be on a 12hr on and 12hr off light schedule.
Using Gaia Green Power Bloom top dressing for the flowering nutrients. 1 cup per 5gallons of soil once per month. Will add another cup in 4 weeks and every watering will be done with just CalMag and kelp.
Have the Maxsisun PB2000 on order and will hopefully be here next week. Going to move my Spiderfarmer SF-1000 back into my 2x2 veg tent as it's the perfect size and the PB2000 will be the new flowering light for my 3x3 tent.
(Dec 14th - 20th)
Second week of flowering is looking really good. Not showing as many pre flowers as the Hash Passion but still looking really good.
Debating trimming off some more leaves but for now I've just been tucking them down under other branches to make sure all the shorter growth is getting lots of light. May trim off a few bigger ones here and there but for now just watching it.
Day 68
New grow light came in, Maxsisun PB-2000
Day 72
End of the week, had to put on a riser to get to the same height as the Hash Passion. Not stretching as much as the Hash Passion either but has lots of pre Flower sites stacking up very dense on the main branches.
(Dec 21st - 28th)
Another great week of flowering. Have one main branch that seem to growing a lot better than all the rest.
Lots of buds growing in looking really good. Super excited for this plant
(Dec29th - Jan 3rd)
What an exciting week. Everyday the buds were growing bigger and more frosted in trichomes. The whole plant is really starting to fill out quite nicely.
Beginning of the week have one branch just explode and shoot up a few inches higher than all the rest of the plant, it's like the super branch. Super excited to see how it turns out in the end.
Gave the final cup of power bloom and a cup of Earth worm castings for the last feeding.
Had a fungas gnat issue but seems to be good now that I tosswd some eco bug killer powder.
(Jan 4th - 10th)
Great week of flowering, buds are really starting to fatten up and stacking up on top of one another. Sugar leaves and some of the fan leaves at getting super frosty. The smell is getting stronger and smells amazing. Super excited to tried this bud out.
Going to flush her next week in Monday. Going to use flawless finish and dechlorinated tap water. Roughly 8gallons. Once the ppm run off is below 300ppm I'll switch to using distilled water pH'd to 6.5. my tap water is roughly 285ppm.
Starting to see a lot of red hairs coming in and it's time for the flush. The Ha passion I'm going to wait a week till I flush. Not as far along.
Flushed with flawless finish on Monday. Ran through 26L. Ppm was initially 3300 and at the end was down to 1750ppm
Tuesday flushed with 16L of just 6.5pH tap water that was dechlorinated. Initial run off was 1200ppm and got it down to 767ppm.
Let her dry out for 3 days
Flushed again but this time with RO water, 20L at 12ppm. My tap water is anywhere from 285-360ppm.
Letting her dry again for 3 days. After will return to the normal 3L watering every 2-3days until harvest.
