My first time running photoperiods in an autopot. I have one slightly older photoperiod but otherwise, this is all my first photoperiod run. They are 3.9 gallon with approximately 2L of Mother Earth expanded clay pebbles (10L bag made 5 pots worth) in the bottom with an air dome and an air tube running up. On top of the clay pebbles is Mother Earth 70% Coco 30% Perlite. I use a myco product at seed planting and transplanting but otherwise just MC and Calmag until flower. Transplanted them into their second home of three. They stay in this until their roots want to get out. Then I either remove it completely or score it and plant with it. I have planted multiples with the bags even without scoring and they turned out fine. I just want the roots to escape better.
More of a photo dump than anything. Lots of duplicates but every single individual plant photo is labeled with a strain name. Day 18 is when I started FIMing them and then LST soon followed. It is coming along nicely.
This week I had to fight off fungus gnats big time. One of the fixes is Diatomaceous Earth and usually with top watering it presents an issue but with bottom feeding I can leave it and not worry about watering. It did get damp because the autopot does wick up moisture but it is still effective while slightly damp. It is preventing the gnats from making a home in my topsoil.
I let them grow out a bit the past week or so. I had been trimming leaves regularly but they seemed to slow down so I gave them a little regrowth time. I now just trim a few leaves here and there. May do heavy defoliation before flip but selective until then. DE is still doing it's thing.
Now there's signs of flower! These are my first photoperiods ever so it's cool to see how they flower compared to autoflowers. Very different, much slower but still cool to watch.
This was a horrible day. I discovered on February 6th, 2021 that I left Alaskan Thunderfuck off (I have installed individual shutoffs for the autopots, my design, not theirs) after a major valve overflow in the tent.
What occurs at times, if you're new to autopots like us, is that you move them and jostle the valve loose and if you don't realize it (I keep lids on), they will leak water slowly and surely all day or night. I caught a leak on January 22nd. Turned all pots off, took all girls out and dried up all the water. Rearranged some, did some defoliating (eek!) and one by one put them all back before lights off!
One problem. I left one pot turned off and closed. Alaskan Thunderfuck went 13 days without water. She was put into a dry autopot and was never turned back on until February 6th when I checked it. It was yellowing and I didn't think much because Gelato 33 yellowed and went back to green right before it.

This White Widow (we grew two) was very floppy, she couldn't support her own weight at all. The buds developed slightly purple though no cold temps were really experienced. The smoke (or dry herb vape as it is) is good but fairly generic. Nothing that stands out but certainly no complaints.
This one was beast mode from the word go. Tallest and most vigorous plant at most points in time. Smelled like orange late in flower. We made the mistake of not lollipopping or removing more lower growth to promote larger buds in general. Therefore, the buds were all pretty uniformly not big. :)
I made a boo boo during this run. Right after defoliation in early flower I forgot to turn her valve n or check it for 13 days. She recovered but only yielded 103 grams. Smells strong, works well. Not sure how much we like it yet. :)
