100% germination rate... and they were quick too! I soaked them over night, then moved to paper towel. I was worried that they were in paper towel too long because the shells were cracked and leaves trying to open up before I was expecting!
They are in small felt pots for now, but I plan to transplant them in to big pots very soon. I want to try to avoid root bound plants... I've got some 30gal pots lined up.
Off to a good start.... had the humidity a bit higher than I would have liked... but it's closer to 50%RH now. Planning on moving to some nice big pots... but nervous about upsetting the plants. Move date TBD.
I had spider mites in my grow room, but these plants seems to have avoided the infection. I sprayed them down nonetheless, and they don't seem to be suffering from the treatment. They are in small pots, and I'm considering transplanting into larger pots... but I don't what to shock the plants, so I'm not 100% committed LOL
Still trucking along nicely. They are not super dense, but I'll give them a tiny bit of nutrients this week to see how they do. I've been very cautious...
@PEV_Seeds, I'm so disappointed... :(
I'm going to start a new cohort once I sanitize my grow space.
I've learned a lot about the importance of keeping the grow room holy and sacred LOL. I brought soil indoors that have been stored outside... and I also allowed a new plant to be introduced into the grow room from outside. I knew it was a risk... but I underestimated how serious the impact could be!
Never again!
