I dropped all 3 Strawberry Pie beans in a glass of water overnight, then into a damp papertowel the next morning. I put the papertowel inside a plastic bag, blew into it, then sealed it and put it into my heating ductwork. I pulled it out the next day and all three had a quarter to half inch tails. I then placed all three into solo cups, with a mixture of Coco Coir and Perlite that I already soaked in Cal Mag, and then flushed down to .4 EC. My basement is really cold right now (about 60 farenheit) So I am using HID lighting for this run for the first time. I figured if I am going to pay to heat my tent, I may as well try out HID lighting instead of paying for heat and running my LED's. I am excited to see if I can pull even denser nugs with the fact that I am growing my first ever Indica Dominant strain, as well as utilizing HPS lights for flower for the first time. I am running a small humidifier in my tent as well because that MH light really burns off the moisture in my tent. I also hooked up a tiny 200Watt heat panel that will run on a timer only when the lights are off. I am going to do this just for the seedling stage, and then I believe they will harden from some 60s at night. Thanks for checking me out and Blaze On.
Hey now, so my setup is pretty simple, just a 3X5 tent, with an AC Infinity Exhaust, I normally run LED, but am using HID this run due to it being winter time and needing some additional heat, and a reservoir that feeds the ladies on a timer via a pump and a halo watering system. Due to my work schedule I needed a somewhat automated system. Week 1 went well. We did have a bit of a heat wave (at least for this time of year) so I had to switch from the Metal Halide to my Spider Farmer LED, because when the Exhaust fan would kick on high heat, it would drop the humidity too much....... but all the young ladies seem to be doing fine now. I am now feeding them 10% of the recommended dose of Maxi Grow, as well as .4 EC of Cal-Mag, and I will gradually raise that to approximately 25% of the recommended dose throughout veg. Thanks for checking me out and blaze on!
Week 2 went well, two of them are taking off and one is a little behind but they all look green and healthy so far. I am hoping to top at least the two most healthy ones within the next week, I am looking for 6 nodes and they are working on number 4 right now so it shouldn't be a problem. It is still very early, but so far I am very impressed with the genetics from 420 Fastbuds.
This week went well, I transplanted all 3 to their final containers on day 17. Two of them are working on their 7th node on day 21, so I will be topping them probably tomorrow or the next day. The third Strawberry Pie seems to be very slow growing for some reason, so I doubt I will top her at all. I will start LST in the next few days as well. Thanks for checking me out and blaze on!
This week went well, I fed em and they grew. Did some LST as well, and they are starting to fill out nicely. Thanks for checking me out, be safe and blaze on!
This week went very well, I did some minor LST, and some light defoliation. I believe I have a nice base built for her, now I am just hoping she grows a little bit before flower. She is starting to show some tiny white hairs, but I think I have another week of growth left.
Thanks for checking me out and blaze on.
This week went well. The pies grew from 12 to 18 inches, and are really starting to pre-flower now. I did some low stress training, and some minor pinching and twisting. I am transitioning from veg to bloom nutes, this week. I seen these on Fastbuds website these girls are supposed to grow to about 39 inches tall. I really hope I didn't stunt them, because they are nowhere near that tall and they are done growing I think.....Overall though they are pretty green so I can't complain! Thanks for checking me out and blaze on!
This week went well, I did some defoliating and that's about it. I am absolutely loving these genetics and am super excited for her to flower! She started really slow and I thought I stunted her but she looks pretty healthy now. I did switch to bloom nutrients and also switched over from a 400 Watt Metal Halide to a 600Watt Hight Pressure Sodium. The ladies seem to love that HPS.
I am pretty much done defoliating and pruning, unless I get a leaf that is really blocking bud sites. I really pruned/lollipopped them hard this run because I got about 10 zips off my first auto, but it was alot of larf, and I am looking for something easy to trim up. Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated. thanks for checking me out and blaze on!
This week went pretty good. Two of the pies are definitely ahead of the third, which is the only one I did not top. The third one definitely looks like she is going to have alot of color though, as the little buds and leaves have some purple in them already. I am still just feeding CalMag at the recommended dose, and Maxi Bloom at half strength. I did some very light defoliation this week, but really only a handful of leaves between all three plants. This is my first time growing anything from Fastbuds, and so far I am very pleased. Any tips or advice is always welcome, thanks for checking me out and Blaze On!
Hey now, this week went good, the one Pie still seems a little behind but we will see..I did start feeding a half a tsp per gallon of Liquid Kool Bloom at the start of this week, they seem to be responding well so far. I will probably switch from Liquid to Dry (Ripening) Kool Bloom sometime in the next week, and then flush for about 5 days after that when they get close. I believe I am about 2 weeks or so out. Overall, I am very happy with these genetics, first run from fastbuds 420 and so far so good,,,,,,Thanks for checking me out and blaze on!
This week went pretty good, all three seem to be getting close to the finish line. I did some defoliation this week, and I also switched from the Liquid KoolBloom to the Dry kool bloom. I am also feeding Maxi Bloom, and Cal Mag for a total of 1.2 EC. They are pretty much done growing, and are just ripening at this point. I will probably start flushing sometime this week based on how the trichomes look. My plan is to flush the Coco down to about .2 EC, and then just feed them plain water for 72 hours once I hit the desired EC level. Thanks for checking me out and blaze on!
This week went well, I started flushing all 3 strawberry pies, and one of them was about 15% amber trichomes, so I cut her down, and the other two will be a few more days.
Very nice week, I did cut down strawberry pie #2 on day 80 and I posted a few pics. pie #1 is dried and curing, Pie #3 still needs a few days, as I am just starting to see the first amber trichomes. This is also the only pie that was run in a fabric pot instead of an airpot, so not sure if that slowed her down a week or a little more than the other 2 pies. I believe pie #3 will also be the lowest yielding and is also the purple phenotype, and the only Pie that I did not top. One thing is for sure, she smells absolutely amazing.......Thanks for checking me out and blaze on!
I had alot of fun growing this strain, everytime I opened the tent and smelled that delicious strawberry, it really brought a smile to my face. I have tried Strawberry Pie #1, and she is delicious. The buds are extremely dense, and have a very nice pink and green contrast. I haven't tried #2 or #3 yet, but I am very much looking forward to it after some more curing time.
I ended up making bubble hash out of the trim, and I got 8 grams, which I pressed into 4.7 grams of rosin, and all I can is that this is some of the best tasting and strongest rosin I have ever tried, let alone grown. I will be posting some videos of the flower being pressed once it is properly cured. I will say that after smoking, I realized I need some more Sativa for daytime use, so I am giving my Gorilla Cookies to a friend, and starting some Orange Sherbet instead. As a delicious night time/dessert smoke, and especially for those into concentrates, you absolutely can't go wrong. Thanks for checking me out and blaze on!
@Ferenc, Thank you so much brother, I really appreciate that. I have been having so much fun and learning so much on here in the past 9 months. I really appreciate all the positive support and encouragement brother, thank you and best of luck for Fast and Strong grows! 💪💪
I'm dreaming of the live R... bet that tasted magic.
I'm trying one outdoors, no space inside, 3wks...... got her under partial/netting shade from 12 till 15.30, shes missing 1 fan leaf, though still looking ok, but not 100% hopeful of big frosty yeild like yours. 😕 any suggestions????
Get v short nodes on indicas outdoors here due to hot humid nights - if anyone is suffering long nodes.......... hotter nights... 😎
@sailormoonflowers, hey don't worry about that missing fan leaf, thats no big deal. I have never grown cannabis outside so you could get much better advice from an outdoor grower. I really appreciate you stopping by brother, and I hope your grow is strong 💪 and fast!!!
Love the videos, love the stats you decided to put up, and letting us know about it as you were showing us the buds. The quotes were a nice touch in the second one, liked the run down of your set up and the stats of the first one, great though, and awesome job on your grow again. Hope those who you share with know how much you care. A rosin press to? damn. And you switched to HID? because it was a bit cooler in your grow?
@@nicks, thank 🙏! I actually switched to HID lights for the winter because the LED's were only keeping my tent at 64°, the HID's kept me in the mid 70's.....back to LED's now by Mars Hydro and Spider Farmer....
@shingshong, much appreciated brother, so far I feel like the MH is keeping them very short and bushy, but this is also my first time growing indica dominant autos, so tough to say for sure.
