They are growing very well, all at the same rate as well. I lost 2 seeds whose stems were very weak and fell over. Not sure what the cause was, but I think it is some kind of fungi
Realised that my light might have been too intense last week and thus turned it down to 250W and also raised it up a bit. This is supposedly the cause for the white lower leaves
The plants are growing very well, much better than my first grow. Slight yellowing of leaves, I think this is due to too much light, so I toned it down to 250w again, at a lower setting
Started with low stress training, maybe a little too late, but the plants werent growing as quick as I thought they would. Also transplanted them to bigger 15l pots
Applied some neem oil for some thrips that was eating away at the plants. After the first dosage I can no longer see any of them on the leaves. Luckily they were still in larva form so they should be gone soon.
Flowers are coming along nicely, I have the thrip problem sorta under control, I just squish a few of them every day and it seems to keep their numbers in check (Dont want to use neem oil in flower stage since it might affect taste and safeness of the product)
Used some molasses for extra bio-organism growth in the soil, seemed to work well for the plants
Managed to nutrient burn my plants the previous week, in the photo's the leaves are slightly shriveled, indicating the start of it, but a quick flush of the soil restored the plants to a healthy condition again. They are truly starting to make some big flowers.
Realised the temps might be way too high for flowering stage. SOmetimes hovered at around 35 degrees Celcius... Got myself a cool tube reflector for the HPS lamp and now it is chilling at 28
It seems that the Biggest Bud plant is getting very yellow, although the buds dont look ready for harvest. Im thinking it might have had a Nitrogen deficiency before entering flower. Might need to harvest it early if it shows signs of dying
First week of flushing done. Think I might have started flushing too early, but the trichomes are getting more cloudy by the day. Would say about 50% cloudy 50% clear at the moment
