High GD community, Week 1.2 Not much to mention so far. It was an easy germination!! High GD community, Week 2, Acupulco Gold taking it slowly. But nothing to blame her. She was aside and underlighted in the tent. Now she's at the center of the action. All plants moved around, having much more space again. The seedlings of the choice is yours diary are just starting and, are for the moment small pots of 400ml. So the room keeps its dynamics for a few weeks. I hope she gets a boost now having better conditions then before. 💦👨‍🔬 Just daily spray, no nutrients or adds. 1 watering with the change of place etc. 400ml at ones. High GD community, Acupulco Gold still growing slow. I think i might have some trips. Ive spotted some in the big tent 2. I think she will need time to grow out strong, so i decided to top it now on node 2 and make a side project on it. While she's growing and doing her stuff, ill get busy getting those trips out of the plants/tents. I will go for the most bio friendly way, and look for mites that eat those thrips. Im in touch with a local grower of living pestcontrols. But ill need to negotiate the quantity, bcs ill get 25 bags of mite nests and 1 is good for 1m2. So that would like be best case scenario 4 packsm2 used and 21 just dying. That cant be the goal either for the producer. So i look if I can but maybe 4 . High GD community, Week 4, Acupulco Gold still not feeling as happy as i would like. Like i mentioned in the choice is yours diary, im still trying to understand how the light works and how to use it properly. Althought its very slow and small, progress is made, making 2 nice tops. I see what the new setup does with 2x 4000kelvin ledlights of each 9.5w. High GD community, Week 5, Acapulco Gold starts to find its way. It looks like it wanted the topping. The two new heads grew out nicely and i hung a weight on each head so it would come down and the underlaying two branches can climb. Only 1 feeding, today, and every 3 days a 500ml ph 6.3 rainwater. High GD community, Week 6, Acupulco Gold getting in shape! Ive guided all 4 branches now making a cross, so she's recovering from that. The light does change a lot now, so the finaly gets what she deserves. 1 feeding on thursday, others just water. High GD community, Week 7, Acupulco Gold showed great progress this week. Ive kept her down as much as possible. But with the change to growbags 15l for 4 plants in the veg tent, good light surface is out of reach for this girl. So I decided to get her in the flower tent yesterday. Big thanks to chicita banana for the perfect matching box to get her at a perfect starting point. High GD community, Week 8, Acupulco Gold in transition and first sexes showed 3 days ago. First stretching is allready began. Low feeding at the moment bcs she has a nice green colour so far. She deffenitly loves to conditions in the new tent. High GD community, Week 9, Acupulco Gold doing absolutly great! Allmost dubbeling in height. It shows it great potential when grown in a bigger setting. Not being underneath the lights, but slightly at the side, still the EG s800 v2 is giving some nice results as well. I havent switched yet to bloom feeding bcs shes a long flowering. This upcoming week she get her first taste of it. Water consumption increased but as shes in the same composition of soil as the CX and de ST, om more cautious now, and really try to read the plant. High GD community, Week 13, Acupulco Gold becoming allready the eyecatcher of the tent. Such a nice structure of developping buds, some short internodale branches, looking promising for long colas . This week some orange pistels appeared and the sugar keeps on spreading. Theres some alpha alpha growing in the same pot, and its getting big. Ive topted 2 allready, because they overshaded the plant intirely. 2 gentle feeding this week, only with some molasses. High GD community, Harvest Acupulco Gold somehow already stole my hart. The buds look fantastic, smell is very hard and just 100%classic smell of my oldskool weed i use to smoke. I like that, but im sure, during curing, it will open up the aromabox and will reveal fantastic smell and flavor. This is also a first timer, that i manage to get it ready in the needed time according WSE. So that alone is just a plus for me. Update will follow in a week or 3. Update 1, 8/5/21 Very nice smoke, very pine woods and herbs like hints of thyme and rosemary. Got the best buds stocked at 62% boveda, and the instant smoking part at 55% integra boost. First smokes came in hard for the lungs, bcs it was just that bit to humid.
