Just starting the 3rd grow diary, still getting the timeline in order, but these are the latest shots. I went back to just two 1.7gal pots, still trying to reach my goal of 2oz in a single grow Under construction still

I had a tiny split in one of the stems after tightening some of the strings, I quickly taped the joint up and it didn't seem to effect anything. I love the structure of the main plan, the only plant actually because the two in the back are pollinated. This one has miraculously remained non-pollinated, as far as I can tell. My colloidal silver CMOG plant is dying and hasn't produced pollen as far as I can tell, and it's kept in a separate room. I only pollinated one plant with Blueberryxwhitewidow...so what pollinated the other small guy in the back? I have some minor hope that it self pollinated, I found a single open nanner one day, close to the zipper on the tent, I think a light leak caused it. More likely is that it caught pollen from the blueberryxwhitewidow (despite me washing the female off in the shower after). Again, really hoping the main plant isn't pollinated. It does not have the very clear signs I seen on the little ones, growth just stops suddenly, the hairs turn orange, and everything is more...pillar shaped and structured, very few new hairs.

Greenest looking plants I've had, I think it's the addition of calmag this grow. This is week 5 of flower. I'm still trying to fix the timeline of this diary, I'll go back and add veg after. Any pic of buds with orange hairs are from the pollinated plants in the back. The main plant remains looking nonpollinated, fingers crossed. Main (only) plant is filling out a little bit, but now that it's going to be my only actual non-seed harvest, I'm worried about yield. I might very well upgrade my light to the SF1000 mid grow, thinking about it. I still continue to have spidermite problems, I'm becoming annoyed with it. It's difficult to control because I have a lot of houseplants in the same room.

So I upgraded my light, to the next Spider Farmer model, the adjustable SF1000 (100watt). The big aspect of this is I now use my SF600 (60-75 watt depending on who you ask) as a veg light, replacing a 10watt LED bulb. The SF1000 covers more area than my previous light, and hopefully with better penetration, I was getting foxtailing with the SF600.. I just installed it so I'm waiting to see results I harvested one of the pictured small seed-plants. I have about 60-70 seeds at this point, and a couple more buds to sift through still. The seeds look nice and healthy, i'll have picks of those next week along with the other seed plant which I will harvest soon. I transplanted one of the next (round 4) plants into the large 1.7gal pot as well. I think I could actually fit 3 of these in the 20x20inch tent, I might buy another.

Growth is much better with the new lights in the flower and veg areas. The fan leaves are growing larger than they had ever grown, and look much more indica. My grow conditions were so bad my first grow I was thinking this was sativa dominant despite what I was reading online about chocolate mint OG (if that's even what this is, it's from bagseed). The new plants put in flower last week are showing a few pistils each, great growth. I have high hopes for future grows, I could do with higher yields. The small plant with tiny buds is my seed-plant. Chocolate mint OG bagseed crossed with blueberryxwhitewidow. I'm mainly doing this for variety in what I grow, not to make my own strain. If I grow something unique I'll clone and I can always backclone with future CMOG cuttings. One day I'll actually buy some seeds. I also planted my first homegrown seed, the cross, I'm super excited to see what grows. Genetic gambling. The veg area is pictured. The reveg'd cutting is exploding with the new light. The back left plant has some great structure to it. Everything is growing super short internode wise, loving it.

What a shitshow. Week 8 day 5. My hopes have been on the one remaining plant, after accidentally pollinating the other (and the third I intentionally pollinated), to really yield...my supply is dwindling. I upgraded to the SF1000 I think almost 2 weeks ago now, to help this one along. I think I might have N tox from the addition of calmag this grow (I haven't fed it that in 3 weeks now). I did my first flush of a plant today, lol, I am now recognizing the importance of it. I'm realizing I still have a lot to learn. I harvested two top colas, the dry weight ended up being 2 grams...jesus. I'll be happy to get a half oz out of this dumb plant. Thankfully, there are no seeds that I can see or feel. I am getting dramatic foxtailing, like stems sticking out of buds with a batch of stigmas (not "pistils", I learned) on the end of it, one pictured. It looks ridiculous. I wonder if upgrading the light mid grow suddenly caused a burst of growth with no where to go. I lowered the plants actually, I had them propped up with buckets underneath, in hopes of helping the foxtailing. I have such weird leaves this grow, lots of curled in on itself leaves, some very fluffy? some obviously suffering from nutrient tox, just getting brittle and breaking off. I hope the flush helps but I wish I took action sooner. My humidity is always around 27% now, which might also contribute to weird growth. So much stuff to consider. The new plants in the tent aren't a part of this journal, but you can see the effect the new light has. I'm getting huge fan leaves, thick stems, tons of secondary growth. One plant is pushing the limits of my vertical height. I also planted a couple of my home grown hybrid seeds for a new journal. The perpetual grow makes keeping journals a chore, I need a better system.
