What a shitshow. Week 8 day 5. My hopes have been on the one remaining plant, after accidentally pollinating the other (and the third I intentionally pollinated), to really yield...my supply is dwindling. I upgraded to the SF1000 I think almost 2 weeks ago now, to help this one along. I think I might have N tox from the addition of calmag this grow (I haven't fed it that in 3 weeks now). I did my first flush of a plant today, lol, I am now recognizing the importance of it. I'm realizing I still have a lot to learn.
I harvested two top colas, the dry weight ended up being 2 grams...jesus. I'll be happy to get a half oz out of this dumb plant. Thankfully, there are no seeds that I can see or feel.
I am getting dramatic foxtailing, like stems sticking out of buds with a batch of stigmas (not "pistils", I learned) on the end of it, one pictured. It looks ridiculous. I wonder if upgrading the light mid grow suddenly caused a burst of growth with no where to go. I lowered the plants actually, I had them propped up with buckets underneath, in hopes of helping the foxtailing.
I have such weird leaves this grow, lots of curled in on itself leaves, some very fluffy? some obviously suffering from nutrient tox, just getting brittle and breaking off. I hope the flush helps but I wish I took action sooner. My humidity is always around 27% now, which might also contribute to weird growth. So much stuff to consider.
The new plants in the tent aren't a part of this journal, but you can see the effect the new light has. I'm getting huge fan leaves, thick stems, tons of secondary growth. One plant is pushing the limits of my vertical height.
I also planted a couple of my home grown hybrid seeds for a new journal. The perpetual grow makes keeping journals a chore, I need a better system.
